Doom/Skyrim solo, CSD3/Spiral Knights/CoDBO3 in coop
Pretty sad that BO3 is in a buggy state that will make the game stutter or worst case murder your FPS. Also wished the Zombies DLC would get cheaper after almost 10 years.
In ramping up to full production, the massive scope of our ambition became clear. To release and support The Last of Us Online we’d have to put all our studio resources behind supporting post launch content for years to come, severely impacting development on future single-player games. So, we had two paths in front of us: become a solely live service games studio or continue to focus on single-player narrative games that have defined Naughty Dog’s heritage.
I‘ve actually continued playing Reus which has been collecting dust in my Steam library for a decade. I‘m still 50/50 on whether I know what I‘m doing or not, but I am aiming for all the achievements, let‘s see how that goes lol
Shout-out to anyone who has even heard of this game.
The games that caught my attention the most were Payday: The Heist, Crusader Kings III (essentially a live service), and Hollow Knight. Honorary mention: Lovely Planet, it pushed me right to my limits, any little bit harder and I wouldn‘t have been able to get full stars. I did play some Zelda but it didn‘t blow me away.
The worst games, hmm. For sure Magicka, CTDs en masse, absolutely unplayable. DiRT 5 was a huge disappointment to me, driving felt terrible and somehow it looked worse than GRID 2019 with cars that could’ve been toy cars. An HDR spectacle though for sure.
Football, Tactics & Glory. It‘s alright, I already got it so might as well play it, but it‘s only a football manager in a very loose sense. It‘s actually only football in a very loose sense.
Hope they‘ll implement a bunch of image reconstruction techniques with the update. And maybe generally optimize the game better, but not gonna get my hopes up…
I‘m ngl, I‘ve got hooked by Payday The Heist. It‘s absolute fucking bs, but it makes me wanna bs back even harder. And I found a couple nice guys to play the highest official difficulty with so I‘m having fun. Very fortunate considering the game averages 25 players nowadays.
Probably gonna move on after I‘ve gotten all trophies, but I might return for some runs if the guys need a fourth! I would‘ve never thought I‘d enjoy it this much.
Payday TH has like 25 players on average while Payday 2 has roughly 1000x the player count, isn‘t Payday 3 either, but is discounted, so I‘ve a hard time believing it. They probably forgot to put it on sale or I‘m just really unlucky lol
