I thought Just Cause was pretty meh, Just Cause 2 was incredible regardless of the jank though (played it revently). If you decide to play the second installment, I recommend installing the grappling hook mod that lets you grapple from waaay farther - otherwise traversel becomes a pain since the world‘s insanely big. Also, you gotta turn off a few graphic options on modern PCs or the game crashes randomly (and will still crash regardless when you get close to the skull island, at least for me).
It‘s such a unique game, I‘d rate it way higher if bleak/depressing stories weren‘t a turn off for me, but I liked it regardless which should say a lot
Monster Hunter World. This game‘s got me in an iron grip. I‘m looking forward to playing the Tales of Arise DLC which is discounted rn to 20 bucks which is the kinda price I would‘ve expected to begin with.
Mario Kart on the side, playing the expansion pass courses, currently at „Mirror.“
Yeah, you can find vocal people who will play the apologist for just about anything, it‘s baffling to the degree that I wonder if there‘s paid actors on social media in this sense
This year‘s CK3 DLC package is also very close in price to the „base game.“ Naturally, it provides nowhere near as much content and I refuse to believe it requires nearly as much work to make either.
IMO that‘s how actual art‘s supposed to be made. You don‘t just churn it out on a conveyer belt. It‘s a 2D game so it‘s not like technological progress will force them to jump engines over and over again. I‘m not worried.
Not OP, but Dark Souls 1 is probably the purest Souls experience: Slower and punishes impatience like no other. Depending on how much time you wanna spend reading item descriptions, you‘ll probably need to google things for a few gimmick areas/bosses. I like it more than 3 since it‘s not as influenced by Bloodborne yet thematically and in gameplay; it‘s closer to Demon Souls. It also has the most vertical world, which is such a unique experience. A must play for any Soulsborne fan.
