Anything with pixel graphics or at least no 3D graphics. Slay the Spire, Spelunky, Super Meat Boy, Stardew Valley, I bet Rayman Legends, these kinda games.
3D graphics can run well too if the game‘s sufficiently old (Half Life 2).
Monster Hunter World. I‘d kill for a DLSS3 and FSR3 mod for this game, I want better AA and frame gen so bad. I tried FSR3 in Skyrim and Starfield and it‘s mindblowingly good, so smooth.
I wish they‘d stuck with what USUM did visually but in higher res and obviously with more eye candy. Neither the hardware nor the studio seemed to be ready for full 3D Pokemon.
My pipe dream is a bunch of new indie studios forming out of all these layoffs and kicking publisher‘s asses on sales with new competent and passionate games.
…But I guess they‘d then probably sell to those publishers again and repeat…
It‘s likely cross-gen with the Switch‘s successor and I hope it‘ll be technically more competent than their last Pokemon game - especially since it‘ll have to run on the original Switch again
I thought Just Cause was pretty meh, Just Cause 2 was incredible regardless of the jank though (played it revently). If you decide to play the second installment, I recommend installing the grappling hook mod that lets you grapple from waaay farther - otherwise traversel becomes a pain since the world‘s insanely big. Also, you gotta turn off a few graphic options on modern PCs or the game crashes randomly (and will still crash regardless when you get close to the skull island, at least for me).
It‘s such a unique game, I‘d rate it way higher if bleak/depressing stories weren‘t a turn off for me, but I liked it regardless which should say a lot
