VaultBoyNewVegas,

Would be nice to see a new entry. I’ve been dying to see Apollo learn the truth about Trucy since finishing the second Apollo game.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Nope. I’d still have to buy games somehow and I’m fucked if I’m paying a tenner less for second hand because Nintendo games rarely drop in price. Also not paying full price. If anything I’d buy a hacked switch and pirate the games.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yup. I tend to like Annapurna published games.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Good for you mate. I have about 20 and I hardly ever play the damn thing. There hasn’t been enough exclusives on it that has made buying it worthwhile and I don’t play handheld ever so I just buy multiplat on pc or ps5.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I’m sure the fact that Nintendo systems sell well with families and has been massively cheaper than a ps5/Xbox series x plus been available for much longer and there’s been very little stock problems unlike the ps5 has nothing to do with why its one of the top selling systems… Comments like yours always read like propaganda as they never mention other factors than games.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Doubt it’ll be game pass day one. Game pass only includes ea play basic tier which doesn’t include big new releases. You’d be better getting ea play pro for a month and unsubbing if you don’t want to play full price to play it at release.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I never gave out passwords for my accounts that I paid for no one is getting access to shit I pay for because if something goes wrong and the account is banned then I’ve pissed money down the drain.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I’ve known all year that the game I was most looking forward to was the new trails. Sad/disappointing that were halfway through the year and I can honestly say that there’s almost nothing already announced that excites me, I was hoping to see something that would excite me but alas that wont be the case. And I do play indies as well as bigger budget games and I’m not depressed or mentally unwell (I’ve had people armchair diagnose me on Reddit for not being interested in games before)

What should I understand about Guardians of the Galaxy as someone who's never watched any of the movies but I'm playing the game right now? angielski

So I am playing the game because it was free on my PlayStation plus premium and I got a reward on my PlayStation app for playing it. I’ve kind of gotten into Guardians of the Galaxy now but I went into the game basically blind. I knew who Rocket Raccoon was and Groot but that was about it. So I do understand that Rocket...

VaultBoyNewVegas,

The game is separate to the movies. There’s nothing to need to know before hand. Plus the movies are based on comics anyway and didn’t require prior knowledge to watch them, the game is also based on the comic characters. The origins of the characters in the game differ somewhat to the movies as well so there isn’t any benefit or advantage you’re missing by not having seen the movies.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Telltale is actually around again under a different name. They made the expanse episodic game and it felt the same as their older stuff.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

My dumbass did it twice. I got burnt by soul hackers 2 and SMT V on switch.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I finished the first one only last week. I almost dropped it over the puzzles especially the finding runes in the environment one. That one broke the momentum of the narrative/plot for me as you’d be going through an area and you’ve the narration going on or you’ve just been through a big action sequence and now you’ve hit a wall until the puzzle is solved. So I’m in no rush to play this one, I did think the last third was great though and definitely less repetitive.

VaultBoyNewVegas, (edited )

Yet Bethesda are/were the publishers when it released and Beth owned the fallout IP then and continues to own the IP.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I also play FO1 and 2 for the story.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Ehh can’t speak the for the parent comment but I don’t like spending more than 15 quid on indies unless it’s something I really like the look of. Like I bought stray and kena full price but I haven’t bought this when I’m not a survival fan so not sure if I’ll enjoy it despite it seeming like a good game.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I’ve only beaten it once for some reason I can never beat the Cloudburst tank again

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It is. Lots of “gamers” can’t be fucked learning the difference between Austin and arkane, it’s like how there’s people who think bioware Montreal is the same as Edmonton or rockstar north is the same as san Diego when north makes GTA and the other red dead. Generally gamers don’t care what studio does what just the first part of its name. Arkane Lyon are developing blade and that’s still in progress.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Not am Austin game though.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I fucking care when I only play docked and games like xenoblade chronicles 3 fucking lag in places. The switch is used least for me between an s, ps5 and a midrange pc despite it having “fun games”

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It is a chill game. Basically you deliver mail every day to NPCs and have conversations with them. That’s basically it but I really enjoyed it.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yep. Downloads, the thumbs up is endorsements so basically one is how many people recommend it and the other is how many accounts have downloaded it.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Don’t forget going after disabled people.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Pretty much this. I’m fairly certain that I read years ago that Gabe just wasn’t interested as well. Which fair enough valve don’t need to develop games now because they have to but because they want to.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Or rom sites. I think it was Nintendo that had Emuparadise shut down.

Remedy Makes Changes to Core Management Team, Wants to Grow Alan Wake and Control into Larger Franchises (wccftech.com) angielski

This morning, Finnish game developer Remedy Entertainment announced a couple of key changes to its core management team. First and foremost, Chief Operations Officer Christopher Schmitz has resigned and will leave the company on May 31....

VaultBoyNewVegas,

There’s already a sequel planned and being worked on plus a multiplayer game set in the control universe where you play as a ranger of the fbc. And the Lake House Alan Wake 2 dlc will focus on the fbc office in bright falls as that’s where the where investigating cauldron lake from.

VaultBoyNewVegas, (edited )

Saving this site. I was still using 1337x through a proxy.

Edit: Actually just clicked the link and noticed that I used it before I think for 2 trails games, maybe. I had already bought it on PlayStation and wanted to play it on PC as the whole trails series is on PC and not PlayStation and I owned most of the games at the time on PC so wanted the last of the 2 cold steel games to finish the collection and that way they were in one place.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I might get a switch 2 only after it’s hackable. I thought of doing it with the switch but it seemed too complex for me. At this point I’m really fed up with Nintendo’s anti consumer bs. And I’m not just referring to the copyright takedowns and closure yuzu but things like the Mario all stars collection which they then created artificial scarcity around and the Zelda anniversary where they release a HD remaster of skyward sword which is seen as the weakest of the series. I do enjoy the odd Nintendo game but I’ve had my switch since the year after it came out and I’ve only beaten 4-5 games on it and I’ve only 10-20 at most on it and those are mostly indies.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Shouldn’t be but I’ve been down voted here for speaking against deepfakes. Some people really don’t want to see the problem with them.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It took WoW near a decade to make as much as it does though. MMO’s aren’t exactly profitable in the early years.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC cross-play and system requirements revealed (blog.playstation.com) angielski

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the first PlayStation title on PC that uses a new PlayStation overlay, which includes your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your Profile. This feature is available on Windows PCs and will be accessible from the in-game menu or, for keyboard players, by pressing the “SHIFT +F1”...

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Playstation trophies and steam achievements are two different platforms. Why would playstation trophies be tied to your steam account?

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I definitely do with FFXIV. I’m awful at using keyboard shortcuts like f1-9. Bonus is that I can also use the buttons in fpses and switch weapons and shit that way as it’s more natural for me.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Yeah, I read the IGN article earlier today and telltales statement actually put me off them if I’m being honest. None of the devs/publishers come out of this looking good.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

You’re a bit mixed up. Don’t nod the original creators made life is strange 2. Deck nine made a prequel to the original and a new entry with a returning character in it called true colours. True colours isn’t a direct sequel and neither is 2.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

You’re in luck then. All dungeons can be done with ai now.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

First time I played WoW I liked that you were given a guided tour of your races homeland as it explained the world. The last time I played WoW I had to to a tutorial island that explained nothing about the world and then dumped me in an expansion with characters I had no fucking idea who they were and why I should care about them. Even ESO doesn’t prevent new players from playing the base storyline and FFXIV still requires you to complete ARR before moving to the first expansion. I dropped WoW pretty quickly again because I felt too lost.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I know. It’s the only MMO I stay actively subscribed too. I pre-ordered endwalker digital collectors edition and will be doing the same for dawntrail. It’s one of my favorite games.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

No. No way to skip the story as far as I’m aware and it’d be a bad idea honestly as the story continues right from ARR to all the expansions, endwalker has a lot of callbacks to everything before it as it’s a swansong of something like 8 years. Dawntrail is the first new major story arc since FFXIV’s release. Leveling isn’t so bad currently because it’s boosted to get as many people to 90 as much as possible but there’s no max level item either as far as I’m aware as you pick a class then that class becomes a specialisation so you’re constantly getting new abilities to learn for your rotation. It would defeat the point of learning your specialisation if you skipped the leveling and quests of it to max level and had everything unlocked.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Weird thing is no one went and review bombed DMC 5. It’s still talked up as being one of the best hack and slashes. Re4 was continuously talked up as game of the year. If people are going after DD2 then be fucking consistent towards other games too.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It’s no worse than a falcom game and I say that as someone who’s favourite series is legend of heroes.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Same. It bugs me that people think larian only existed when making BG3. When DoS2 released on steam that game hit overwhelmingly positive in no time and I bought it day one with no idea what it was because the reviews were so good. Larian will be fine because they stick to what they’re great at and they’ve been around a long time.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I really hope I get discharged from hospital tomorrow. This would be a nice pick me up after the months I’ve had.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

Most crpgs do though

VaultBoyNewVegas,

It is confirmation bias. Every interaction with a companion includes close ups on the face.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

I used to see it all the time when I read unofficial transliterations of manga and the translator tried to make the pun work, they’d include a note explaining the joke. Personally I prefer localisation which keeps the spirit of what was meant but the text/lines flows in a much more natural way to a native English speaker.

VaultBoyNewVegas,

You’re going to be the very best, the best there ever was.
