I wouldn’t stress it; you didn’t miss much. Like every modern Ubisoft title, the game was very repetitive. You had enough playtime to see everything the game had to offer.
If you’re willing to handle the typical Bethesda jank that every Creation engine game has, it’s a lot of fun. The space travel aspect is disappointing, but there’s so much to do and see on the planets themselves that it’s almost overwhelming. This is by-far their biggest game yet—definitely the largest playable area I’ve ever seen in a game—and I’m only including the handmade areas, not any of the procedurally-generated stuff. There are a lot of good mods available too, despite the game not even being out for a week.
If you likeFallout and/or Elder Scrolls, you’ll probably enjoy Starfield. Just don’t pay full price for it. Either wait for GOTY edition, or just pirate it.
Edit: Also, Real-Debrid if you want to directly download any torrent instantly at your connection’s maximum bandwidth (up to 1Gbps) without having to wait for seeds. But this one costs money. (It’s worth it, though, especially if you’re downloading a lot of 50GB+ AAA games like I am.)
Simple, you replace your torrent client with it. Instead of opening a torrent file in QBittorrent or whatever, you go to the “torrents” section and paste the magnet link/open your torrent file there. Then select “convert” and then you can download the torrent directly from their servers. It’s kind of like a seedbox that everyone shares, so that you don’t have to wait for seeds so long as at least one person has added the file to Debrid before.
You’re not. I’ve been wanting this since the GameCube, the last Nintendo system that was built with performance in mind and advertised as such. The Wii was a step in the wrong direction, and it was all downhill from there as far as my head canon is concerned. I’m glad that Nintendo is finally catering to fans like us again after waiting patiently for 22 years.
DLSS 3 is way better than 2, so I pirated the shit out of that mod. Frame Generation is a game changer. It’s like a magic button that gives you an extra 30-60 FPS for free. Never understood the hate.
Knock it off with the fake news. My TV artifacts more than my 4090 when converting 24Hz films to 60/120. You can’t even notice any artifacting in DLSS 3 without taking screenshots and pixel-peeping. Quit talking out of your ass. DLSS 3 FG works amazingly well in Starfield.
For me it’s probably Jazzpunk, but I liked Disco Elysium too. I’ve been looking for something to scratch that “Jazzpunk surrealist comedy itch” for a while and not many games have come even close.
Does anyone else have absolutely zero interest in these side-scrolling Mario games? They should have stopped in the 90s. This isn’t Sonic; Mario games work well in 3D. Just keep making those.

Damn, I just recently switched to Ungoogled Chromium, just for YouTube (still use Firefox for everything else.) I did this for HDR and RTX Video Super Resolution, since Firefox supports neither. Looks like I’m going to have to live without now.
(Also, how in the hell do you install these things? I tried to play the RTX remix of NFS Underground 2, but gave up cause I couldn’t figure it out. There’s no installer, and it’s not as simple as just copying files over…)
IDK but its successor, Wreckfest, is really freaking good. I like the damage system and how stuff doesn’t despawn, so by the end of the race you have random car parts and barricades littered all over the track. The multiplayer population is small but steady; there’s always a full server or two available.
With the recent password sharing crackdown, I decided to ditch my Netflix subscription and try piracy. What I miss about Netflix is scrolling through content and finding something to watch. With piracy I need to know exactly what I am looking for....
This. Stremio is exactly what you’re looking for OP. Works just like Netflix, runs on your TV. Every show/movie from every streaming platform is there.
Just make sure to install the Torrentio and Streaming Catalogs plugins to get the free content to show up. I also recommend a Real-Debrid subscription cause it it allows you to stream instantly without delay. (In fact, you can download any torrent you want instantly with Debrid.)
Stremio uses torrents, but they’re direct downloads. Everything is stored on a separate server. It’s similar to a seed box, except no waiting cause the files were already downloaded beforehand by what’s called a “Debrid service”.
You can also use Debrid to directly download any torrent you want, not just movies and TV. I have a gigabit connection so it’s way faster than any torrent client could ever dream to achieve.
I love hearing about unique takes on game mechanics. Someone recently convinced me that limited inventories are kind of abused currently and that unlimited inventory systems would give more player choices.
For platformers, maybe. But for certain genres – like battle royale – the risk of losing it all after one mistake is part of the thrill. It all depends on the game.
Also, who cares? It’s your game; play it however you like. I mean, isn’t the whole reason why people play video games is to have fun? If save scumming is your idea of fun, I say scum away.
