I’ve been in the mood to play Skyrim the past few days so i downloaded it and painstakingly installed a nexus Modpack with a ton of QOL changes. It took forever but I am pleased with the results because the game looks gorgeous and has a ton of neat new mechanics that makes it feel immersive

I have a mod in here called Valhalla Combat irc. Idk if it fixes your issue with the combat but it adds things like a lock on to make it much easier to keep a flow

Skyrim really is a magical experience like that. I wish I was old enough to experience it on launch in the early 2010s just so I could experience that with the rest of the community for the first time

Month of December they make it snow on the map.

As for if it’s any good, it’s eh. I have fun hopping in with friends and messing around and doing a few bounties. the game being abandoned after a few updates didn’t help though

RDR2 is really gorgeous like this. I have some photos that show up in my gallery that I sometimes can’t tell if it’s a photo or RDR2 Screenshot. Though, I do think compression helps mask some of the signs that it’s a Video Game

The Whole town is so much fun to get into a shoot out in with its size and complexity. One time me and a friend (same night this screenshot was taken actually I think) were messing around and got into a fight in the bar and started a whole shootout between cops and all the other players in the town. The only other town I feel like comes close is Blackwater

I think the furthest I ever got was the bit with At-Ats on my PS4 save. This screenshot is from my Steam deck save after I picked it up on the summer sale so I’m hoping to complete it this go around. Especially because of all I hear about how good it is

The new Worlds Part 1 update that got shown the other day looks genuinely exciting. I still need to download it too play it but the new planet generation and stuff that got shown off was gorgeous

I replay this game annually on my Steam deck. One of my Top 3 games of All time. The gameplay was definitely one of my favorite parts along with the story. But I can see why it wouldn’t be for everyone with how unusual it is sometimes. Have you played the second one? It goes much closer too a traditional survival horror game then the first with gameplay

I will say that I’ve only played the RE2 remake, but the entire time I was going through Alan Wake II the gameplay very reminiscent of that (at least imo)

I love rating a game’s water graphics. Sea of Thieves especially can be really gorgeous

I agree, It’s really easy to have fun just wandering around with friends. I especially really enjoy bumping into Sea Forts and Skeleton Ships (though all my friends have an aversion to risk and adventure).

The graphics pair really nicely with the OST too. Really makes you feel like a pirate on the sea

I still need to play odyssey. I’m ashamed to admit when it first launched I was young and stuck in a mindset that “older AC games better. RPG AC games bad”.

But I played Origins and then Valhalla while waiting on Mirage (Which I also need to play). I personally enjoyed the older games more, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the RPG titles and want to give odyssey a shot soon. Probably once it goes on sale on Steam

Yeah. I’m in the same boat. When I got older I changed my perspective. If I don’t enjoy a game, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, that just makes it not for me. after I came to that conclusion I went back and tried a whole bunch of games I was unfair too before because I wrote them off. I found myself enjoying a lot more that I initially wrote off

Ps: I hope you enjoy AC4 btw, that and unity & Syndicate were some of my favorites when I first got into the franchise. Valhalla was a lot of fun too (once you get to it)

I love your shot of Sully. I try to focus on mostly scenery so it’s cool to see a well done portrait shot like that. I love the last one too. It has the same vibes as the main menu of the first three

Go for it. I mostly started this as a way to share my growing collection of video game screenshots (I like to take a LOT of screenshots of my games, especially when I have a photo mode). But if anyone else wants to join in they’re welcome too. I’d love too see other people’s screenshots. Especially because I tend to focus on scenery

They’re probably one of my favorite series of all time. I played the first 3 on the Nathan Drake collection on PS4, then earlier this year I picked up Legacy of thieves on my Steam Deck, thinking it contained 1-4 along with Lost Legacy (I’m still a bit upset 1-3 never got a proper PC release but oh well).

I played through 4 and I think it may be my favorite of the franchise. It’s an amazing conclusion to Nathan’s story and it felt like a really amazing entry in the franchise imo. The franchise definitely embodies Sic Parvis Magna I feel like
