Today’s game is Zomboid. Me and my friend ended up continuing from our save from last time where we were playing a Dad Rock Band. Sadly i lost my character after he died looking for a car and I ended up making a new Character that’s a mechanic. On my way back to our temporary base as my new character i bumped into a large...
Right now i’m mainly sticking to B41 for multiplayer. Once B42 gets multiplayer though me and my usual friend i play Zomboid with fully intend to make the switch though

Today’s game is Stranded Deep. While i was playing through AC Shadows, i had a friend ask if we could play something. While normally Halo is our go to game for multiplayer, i have burnt him out on that after he created a monster from me (i’ve legit played a total of 90 current playlist games, and have no intent of stopping...
we almost did Zomboid but I had to reinstall it lmao. It’s a little difficult for a first Survival game imo. The very early game, at least for me, was a lot of micromanaging. Having a second player made it a bit more bearable, but it’s still pretty rough
Definitely get what you mean by the jank. Apparently the studio is working on a second one so hopefully starting from scratch they’ve learned their mistakes and can remove a lot of the Jank
Shadows is honestly the most fun i’ve had with an AC game in the longest time. The stealth is so much fun to pull of, it makes me feel like i’m back in Unity
JC3 is fun to just spend hours dicking around in, or seriously investing it with the gameplay. It’s honestly amazing how good of a game they made around the concept of “blow up some shit, and then blow up some more shit”
I ended up playing some more Lethal Company with my friends. This is like a once in a blue moon thing to play with all of them, so i’m always to get a chance to hang out. We did a few more missions on the save from last time. The entire time i ended up staying on Monitor Duty due to some past experience making me ideal. While...
It looks fun, i feel like the roster is really starting to get bloated though if we’ve reached the point where a dead fish and cow were needed to be made into characters just to meet the roster quota
I played some more AC Shadows today. I did this fun mission where i snuck aboard a boat and blew up some gunpowder reserves (The ship is in the background of the screenshot above. If you look closely you can see the fire)...
someone the other day suggested removing it because by day 250 something the chances i forgot would be slim. I was initially hesitant to do it, but ended up doing it just because it’s a lot better of a title. The rules are very much still “Until i forget”
Without spoilers, i’m really enjoying it. It simplified the lengthy RPG mechanics the older games had, and the story is a major improvement imo. Stealth is also way more prevalent here (but if you preferred the Valhalla route of combat mainly you can do that too). Parkour is awesome too, but the wilderness could use some work. It still inherits a few flaws from the RPG titles, but it’s very much a return to form for the franchise
i’ve considered taking a break a few times or just “freezing” the day count, not because of burn out or anything but because i was just unsure if i could work with my schedule lol. I’m hesitent to take a break though because it kind of feel disingenuous and I’ve ended up working around my schedule each time. If i were to take a planned break though, i think a year would be the perfect point to do it
I took a break from AC Shadows and played some Halo with a friend today. We did Duos on public matchmaking. We got absolutely destroyed by this Duo like 5 times in a row on different games (they must have been the only other people on our server) but it was a lot of fun. We also matched with this one Duo on Halo 3. It was a bit...
Someone made the suggestion to remove the “until i forgot part”, which initially i was hesitant to do for consistency, but after 257 days, i think the chances i forget are slim and i just think it looks better....
It’s a bit of the same, it returns a lot closer to the older AC Games though. For example, a lot of the mythology aspect is removed, and the side quests are a lot closer to the older Assassination Missions. It still uses the framework from the RPG games though (though it’s been heavily simplified from the tree that Valhalla had)
It’s a lot of fun. It retains a bit from the other RPG titles but fixes a lot from it too, especially with the Assassin part of it. I really hope Ubisoft takes this and actually gives it’s planned sequals some time instead of just going straight to releasing another game a year or two later.
The closure of Monolith Productions, an innovative video game developer, shows what’s wrong with an industry in which game publishers have the ultimate power to shut down projects and fire workers.
Damn, i didn’t realize they closed. Aren’t they the studio that made the Middle Earth games? I loved those, they were like AC met Tolkien, shame we may never get another
From a game design perspective, this is a fine example of how to set up progression, all done at various levels – the abilities, the opponents, the character stories, and the location reveals. Not too difficult in game mechanics but does take time to complete. From Google Play....
Some friends asked me too play Lethal Company with him today, and i decided to do that over a 4th day straight of AC Shadows. The screenshots for this one will be a bit light because i have to go through and manually censor all my friend’s info to respect their privacy....
I just looked it up. It looks interesting. I’ve had some people recommend me REPO when talking about LC, but never Murky Divers. I’ll have to pick them both up at some point

The game can be brutal. I think my friend who hosts backs up the save every quota just in case, we’ve never had to use the backup for this save yet though (we’re about 4-5 quotas in i think?)
Long time no see! I really need to stop promising to write about specific games. I get too in my head about it, then I feel obligated to write instead of wanting to write. This is supposed to be a fun personal writing project, not work!...
I could only read a little bit until the site cut me off asking for a subscription, but this seems great. I would still majorly prefer if it was public, but even if it’s preserved somewhere the chances of it becoming lost become a lot lower
The screenshots for today are some more AC Shadows. I found out today that you can get pets for your hideout by petting Animals, so i’ve been doing that every time i see them. The above one was a Calico i found at a shrine. They’re absolutely adorable. Still a little odd looking, but it’s a cat, so it’s still absolutely...
Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I was originally going to play some more Far Cry 3, but this game has somehow managed to get me completely hooked in just 2 days. What i meant to be a few hours, turned into me spending my entire day off playing the thing....
This is honestly the first I’m hearing of Open World fatigue. If I had to take a guess it’s a combination of the games playing differently, completely different stories, and different kinds of worlds. Idk though, maybe I’m just more tolerant is all
It’s a step in the right direction for sure compared to Valhalla. It simplified the bloat down, and it feels like there’s actually parkour now. I’m afraid I can’t compare it to mirage though as I haven’t played it yet.
I’d say if they liked origins though they’ll like this though. It reminds me a lot of origins, just with a bit of the grinding taken out
Today’s game is Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I had Assassin’s Creed Shadows gifted to me by a friend. I was hesitant to pick it up, and if i did, i was going to wait for the usual Ubisoft price cut when it goes on sale....
I agree. It still has a bit of a way to improve, but I’d say that if you were to pick it up though, the sale would be the safest bet, especially with the freakishly large base price tag
It’s definitely really pretty and runs pretty well too. I have it set to the base High Option and it runs at around 60 FPS for me with my specs (which is the max my monitor goes)
Today’s game is Mario Kart 64. I originally was going to do some more Far Cry 3, but Ubisoft has this bug with the Launcher where it makes me sign in every time i want to play the game and that’s just a major motivation killer for me when i’m short on time....
The Heavyweights are fun to play for sure. I love that they can spin people out like you mentioned(even if it does become my worst enemy when I’m playing lighter characters)
I almost did the same with my Black Flag playthrough. What I ended up doing was using the Steam Notes to save my Ubisoft password and copy and paste it in. Ik it’s horrible for security, but I was fed up with having to get my phone out and look at my keychain just to type out the long password
Today’s game is Far Cry 3. I got to do this whole quest chain where you go through some old temples and stuff. The whole thing was a lot of fun and helped break up the pattern the game had going. As much fun as i was having i felt it was starting to drag on with the some sort of missions it was having it do. The ruins...
