edit: I’m really sorry, i did not mean to spoil that for everyone like i did. I’ve gone ahead and moved the spoiling screenshot into a spoiler block along with the spoiling segments and replaced it with one with a far less intrusive one. That’s my bad and I really should have been more observant and thoughtful of everyone...
I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to spoil it for you like that. I thought everyone knew with how prevalent it’s been online. It’s still definitely worth the experience I’d say though
Yeah. That’s my bad. It was late and I wasn’t thinking and with how it felt like everyone online was talking about his death i figured everyone down the line now would know. That really is on me. My bad
Today’s game is The Last of Us Part 2. I… probably need to stop buying and picking up games. This is what? The 5th new game i picked up? In my defense though, it was cheaper than i expected and i got paid early than i thought. At this point i think i need to start cutting things loose and go back later. We did finish Halo 4...
I saw the chronological version and almost played that but decided not to after seeing the warning to play the main campaign first. I knew it had the dual characters and thought maybe it was like an Alan Wake 2 Situation
I remember you asking. It’s fun seeing familiar faces.
I’m excited too play though! I like to give games a try myself and not just take popular consensus on them (assuming the games are morally just ofc) and I wanted to try this. The consensus seems to be all over the place because I see people saying either it was really good Or it was the worst thing ever. I’m excited though to try it
Definitely in the same boat. I loved the first one storywise, but damn, the second one’s gameplay is awesome. Something about it feels far more expressive and natural. I got to Seattle today and it’s so damn cool having that big open space
If i wasn’t on PC i’d actually look into my library for games because they have a good selection. Unfortunately my Xbox has been stolen by my siblings and is enjoying it’s retirement in the living room, my Switch decided it didn’t want to be here anymore and just… let the battery go out and somehow the heatsink oxidized (though, as much as i disagree with the Switch 2’s price point, i’m looking into one since for me it’d be a Switch 1 + a 100$ investment for a new system. Plus im fortunate enough to be in a situation where i can afford one and let my friends try it so they can decide for themselves), and i haven’t really had an interest in a PS5.
For the brief moment i had the consoles though, the library was a godsend. I wish more people took advantage of them because they’re one of the most important public resources around i’d say
Today is (finally) some more Prey (2016). I spent a while just dicking around in the Lobby area and ended up going on my first space walk. I completely forgot about these parts of the game, which is a tragedy because they’re so fucking cool. Growing up i always wanted to be an astronaut (a fear of heights quickly put a stop to...
Maybe I should start a list of everything I’ve played. I’ve certainly got enough for a good list and I’ve saved everything I’ve 100% in a Steam list, so I’ve already got some of them tracked
The turrets are a lifesaver. Set up a firing line and bait the enemies into it. Maybe provide assistance fire with the Goo Gun and it makes quick work of everything.
I’m not big on rougelites, maybe I should give it a try though. It doesn’t seem like it’d be too expensive on sale
I think it’s definitely worth trying. I thought it was popularly received but I’m hearing some people were mixed. If you have Game pass I believe it was on there so it’s worth trying
Damn. Redfall kind of explains it. I remember seeing bad reviews for it. I had kind of hoped it would get a sort-of-but-not-really redemption arc like Back 4 Blood did with how it kind of found its player base. Albeit small
Today’s game is Halo 4. With us wrapping up ODST the other day and me finally getting home, we decided to speed through this. The campaign is shorter than i remember. We’re more than halfway through now and only played for one day....
Today’s game is some Mario Kart 64 (specifically the Spaghetti Kart version). I’m finally home back to my big fancy gaming rig. I was meaning to get to some Prey today, but i was wiped and even while playing Mario Kart i was passing out at the Wheel. Toad is lucky he wasn’t in an accident with me driving. Somehow, despite...
Today’s game is Uncharted 4. I’m not sure what it is, but something has drawn me to come full circle (for the 3rd time) with this game. It turns out I’ve had it installed on my Steam Deck this entire time I’ve been away from my Main rig, and after finishing up The Last of Us last night, I just was left wanting Uncharted...
They’re definitely something i think someone needs to be in the mood for, but damn, when you’re in the mood for them they’re some of the best things you can play. Naughty Dog really knows how to make the best of what they’re working with. It makes me curious to see whats next
I 100% Wind Waker myself a few years ago. So much damn fun, but i don’t think i could ever do it again. It took so much out of me. Respect to you though for 100% it, i know how much work that is
As a old member of Gen Z, i can definitely say the prices aren’t helping. A lot of people in my age group just don’t work from what i’ve seen, so with 70$ and sometime 80$ games they aren’t going to be buying many. On top of that, and this may just be the people i’ve exposed myself too, but most of them don’t want longer experiences. They’d rather plop down with something like FF14 or Mario Kart and play that over and over and over again. That’s not a bad thing, but i definitely think it’s not helping. And like i said, this might just be the people i expose myself too.
I can definitely get that. I like to keep a good few games on hand i can just hop into after a long day, it’s nice to be able to kick back with smaller games even if my favorites are always bigger story games.
Today’s game is Halo 3 ODST. Me and my friends I played the last few games with have been playing this nightly. I even committed to the bit and bought a bag of dorritos to eat while playing. ODST is good fun, especially with 4 players. I managed to get this screenshot of two of my friends Rookies right up against each other...
My platinum collection on PlayStation started with Uncharted 1 on PS3. So switching gears to PC and another Naughty Dog franchise is like coming full circle
Today’s game is some more Wind Waker. I started making my way through the first dungeon, but was stopped by my worst enemy: A dead controller battery. It’s a shame because I had just gotten the key....
I don’t think I hate the triforce quest as much as I see others, as I do have some fond memories of it. Just it drags on a little too long. I disagree with the people who want it cut entirely, but I can respect their opinion. The cut content is so fascinating too. I remember hearing the Iron Boots were cut, and it’s always triggered this sort of morbid curiosity where I can’t help but wonder what it would have been like to keep them.
Today’s game is some more Wind Waker. With my limited library of games, it seems like this is going to be my game for a bit (at least until next Sunday). Though I do have Silent Hill 2 Remastered installed along with The Last of Us, so those are things I’ve also been cracking away at. I did the forsaken fortress today and...
I actually have never seen that show growing up. It took a friend who asked me to babysit and put it on for the child for me to even actually pay attention to it
It took me a while to get into finishing it too. I’ve started it a decent number of times and it took it being like the only game I had access to for me to finally sit down and play it
I definitely didn’t click with it like others around my age despite seeing up season 3 I believe, but I totally respect the show and what it is. It had a lot of merit too it and values I think are important for people to learn
Today’s game is The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Right now I only have access to my Steam Deck due to current events, and I wanted to kill some time and have kind of been craving this since Prey isn’t on the menu and I recently beat OoT. I’ve been putting it off because this game’s openings is one of its weaknesses...
It lives rent free in my head. I’ll be going through my day and then suddenly… there it is. Like some brain worm that occasionally rears it’s head and reminds me to play Wind Waker
I think we’re definitely over due for the “Pixel Art” Indie game era to be over and instead move onto to trying to mimic things like this. Not that I have anything against the Pixel Artwork for games nor am I trying to make it “1 versus the other”, but it’s been going on too long and I feel like it’s starting to stagnate and make it harder to find stand out games
I played originally on Wii U but wasn’t sure if it was like that on there. It’s a shame because other than the gaudy bloom I’d say the Wii U version is one of the best ways to play it in the modern age.
And I do agree with Twilight Princess. I have still never finished it. I’ll start it, and maybe make it through the opening, before somehow losing my save somehow. I’ve legit been through maybe 10 different save files at this point. It’s a shame because I want to give it a fair chance but I seem cursed to forever lose my TP Saves
Wind Waker holds a special place in my heart after a summer where the Wi-Fi and the AC both went out and Wind Waker was the only game installed on my Wii U. It’s definitely my Second Favorite Zelda
That guy’s sound effects always stood out to me for some reason. Like I don’t know why but they seemed oddly out of place for the game. Not in a bad way but in like a jarring way
I have fond memories of Twilight Princess’s weirdness and art style because when it launched I was a young kid and my Dad played through the whole thing with me watching. That weird art style is so charming in a way
Definitely the reason. I suppose the runs on anything point I can appreciate considering my very first “gaming” device was hardly anything suitable for gaming
Today’s game is some more Halo 3. We finished up The Ark today after being defeated by the bane of everyone’s existence, a Lost Wi-Fi connection. We also did the covenant too but I had so much fun taking photos of the Ark that I ended up taking all of them of that....
