Today is officially day 300! After Minecraft yesterday i went back to Oblivion (seeing as my initial test to see how well Xenia ran on my computer went well). I finally completed the Shivering isles and got to go back home....
I thought about it, but honestly i don’t have any ideas. I’d consider redoing my very first screenshot but i believe that was Uncharted 4 and i’ve already done that. I’ve thought about doing just a collection of my favorite photos but i have so many that i couldn’t decide lol. I have been thinking about it though
Today’s game is Minecraft Xbox 360 edition. The soundtrack for the Oblivion remaster has me wanting to play Fable 2 again (they sound really similar, at least in my head), and i have a disk copy of Fable 2, which i was trying to figure out how to dump the files to Emulate with Xenia (so it’s all configured for when i want to...
That’s what me and my sister used to do growing up lol. We couldn’t afford the full game, so we’d use the demo and speedran as much of the Tutorial world as we could. We didn’t figure out you could actually skip the tutorial until a year after we bought the full game though lol
I’m not sure yet. I’m honestly impressed i could emulate it, i wasn’t expecting it to run perfectly. Now that it does though i might just do a survival world and see what i build impulsively. i might go to a super flat too and try to build a city. That was one of my favorite things to do growing up (The ‘city’ was like 3 houses and an assortment of Pixelart)
Today’s game is some more Oblivion. I nearly went back to Daggerfall, but i went to that wanting to be a brief break from Oblivion for fun. I wasn’t expecting to get hooked on it lol. I ended up having to sit myself down and basically go “No more Daggerfall until you finish Oblivion”. I went ahead and did some more of...
It took me a minute to figure out why i was dying. I went through maybe 4 health potions before i realized something was up and checked my status and realized “Oh shit, i was still carrying the Dark Brotherhood quest line’s poison apple and just ate it”. I hope it goes in Tamriel’s history books that the Listener of the dark brotherhood accidentally poisoned himself with his own poison apple
Today’s game is some more Daggerfall. I originally intended to just go back to oblivion, but fuck Daggerfall is addicting. I love how immersive it feels. There’s a ghost haunting this one specific town? It actually attacks you at night in that one specific town out of like 2000 towns in the region. Need to find someone...
i was helping a friend setup Daggerfall Unity earlier a few hours ago and he sent me the same mod lol. I added Dynamic skies today along with a few city ones and i meant to add that but i need to mess with my other mods first. Somehow I’ve already fucked things up because half of The city of Daggerfall is now missing
I’ve been trying to stick to the deadlines assuming they’re being serious, it’s good to get some confirmation though. I assumed they were since i already knew you could just straight up decline the main story and then not be able to pick it up again
Thanks for the guide on the dialog! I couldn’t figure out why everyone hated me, and i had assumed it was a combo of a low personality + being a Khajiit lol. So it’s nice to know i was at least half on the mark. The Blunt and Polite thing is making a whole lot more sense. I’m definitely saving some of those mods too (it will probably wind up being all of them knowing me), especially the Autosave and Quick Save one. Not even 4 hours in and i’ve been burned by that mistake multiple times. Pressing F9 to quick save has become a habit whenever i have to open doors
Today’s game is Elder Scrolls Daggerfall. All the Oblivion i’ve been playing has been making me want to give this game another go. So i ended up downloading the Daggerfall Unity Version and a few mods....
The immersion is so much fun to get involved with. It can get a little frustrating at times, but damn is it so cool most of the time. The scale of the world is probably my favorite part. Having something of that size just makes it feel so much more immersive
I continued working my way through Oblivion’s Shivering Isles DLC today. I didn’t end up making it far as i experienced a crash that undid a bit of progress. It was the first time i’ve had the game itself crash which i’m surprised about. I’ve hear a ton of people saying it crashes regularly so having it crash only once...
i’ve come close a few times but it usually freezes and unfreezes. The most common point i notice this is with the Countess of Bruma. If she even so much as stands up in the same room as me then my game will freeze for a few seconds. It made the main story hell
I played on my Steam Deck on launch because i really wanted to play it. It was an experience lol. Most of the game was playable, but the prison got tedious at points with the lag
Today is some more Oblivion. I went straight to the Shivering Isles DLC after beating the main story (which i will add looked sick in the remaster)....
i keep meaning to get the Armor fixed but everytime im in a town i forget. Luckily it’s just the hood i’m wearing that’s broken now, but i really should fix it sooner rather than later
I was debating between Shivering Isles and Mage’s Guild, and ended up going with the Shivering Isles mainly because the beginning of the Mages guild is always something i struggle to get through. I didn’t know much about the Shivering Isles though and was expecting another Knights of the 9 situation, not a whole realm to explore
I finished the Dark Brotherhood quest today in Oblivion and finally went back to the Main Story. I’m not a big magic guy so i figured i’d save the Mage’s guild for the post game. I went ahead into the Shrine for the Main story to get the Amulet. In the room above i got to pull of some sick stealth archer maneuvers too and...
I got back to Oblivion’s Remaster today and did the entire Dark Brotherhood quest. Or at least i thought i did. What i didn’t end up realizing was that what i thought was the end of the quest wasn’t the end. I have a whole 3 more ranks left after i kill the Dark brotherhood. When i did my unfinished playthrough when i was...
I wanted the bonus so i did the bonus objective, but i did the exact same thing lol. I talked to the first lady that forces you into dialog and that was it
The Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood are some of my favorites. I just played the Dark Brotherhood to completion today for the first time, and i really liked that ending
Given the swathes of posts about bad behavior from big companies, I figure we could counterbalance that with some positivity about stuff the smaller guys made that often costs us less too.
I have a personal soft spot for Doki Doki Literature Club because it got me into programming when i was young, but that’s far more sentimental and to be honest i wouldn’t play it again as an adult really. If i had to pick something functionally though I’d say Project Zomboid. there’s a fuck ton of fun to be made in that, especially with Multiplayer. Even in singleplayer i like to turn on a NPC mod and assemble my own makeshift Walking Dead cast
Today’s game is some more REPO. There’s a new Beta apparently and some friends were asking me to play with them. One new feature i think is new is that the Uranium stuff actually hurts you. We found this out the hard way after one of our friends dropped one on a bed and accidentally killed themselves....
We’ve all played them. Backtracking, not knowing where to go. Going back and forth. Name some of these games from your memory. I’ll start: Final Fantasy XIII-2, RE1
I had the Old Ninja Gaiden i believe on some Collection for the PS3 growing up. Maybe it was just my age but i could never figure out what the hell i was supposed to do. There were a few games like that in the collection now that i think about it, like Echo the Dolphin and some top down rpg like thing
Today’s screenshot is some more Oblivion. I finished the Arena Questline today and spent all day doing it. I did the quest for the Grand Champion, completely forgetting it makes him throw the match and now i feel a little bad for the guy. I was just trying to help....
I have fun popping into them every once and a while to play with friends, but it’s very rare for them to stick. Usually it’s a “Let’s play one or two matches” and then we go back to our usual thing
Today’s game is some more of the Oblivion Remaster. I went ahead and finally put the Arena quest on hold for a minute to finally go help close the first Oblivion Gate....
It’s a very good game, so i wouldn’t blame you for thinking that lol. A family member is paying for Xbox Gamepass just to stream the game too so i get the GeForce
i know how you feel lol. I actually picked up Starfield on discount because i really wanted to give it a try myself, but ended up giving in to the oblivion remaster and playing that
On an older run on a shared save me and a friend did a Priest we called Father John. His whole thing was that he was the town crazy man trying to get everyone to join his cult, and he was in prison for spreading his gospel on the streets in the beginning. We ended up making him basically a diet knight with a custom class. The way the game is set up really makes it easy to RP lol
Today’s game is the Oblivion Remaster. I picked it up yesterday and let it install while i slept since it was an 8 hour install for me. My first impressions are that it’s a really faithful remaster. And i don’t mean the Gameplay either, though the tech behind it is interesting to me due to the og code being underneath. The...
Damn. These are all really sick photos. I’ll have to add the UI Removal mod. I think I saw the one you’re talking about while googling if there is a photo mode
Today’s game is Halo MCC. I picked up the Oblivion Remaster today and another game i heard about called “The Quiet Man”. Reviews are bad, but it was $2 and i’d be lying if the concept didn’t seem a little interesting to me. I had anticipated Oblivion to be done today but it’s way larger than i was expecting. I’m...
I actually discovered his channel on complete accident a few months ago. The funny part is i had all Cursed Halo, The Desert Map, and the Minecraft ones all installed installed and never realized they were all made by the same guy until i found his channel
Today’s game is Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I finished the main story today and i was expecting to be done today. I got sidetracked though after i found this interesting quest where i’m hunting Yokai. I plan on playing through it tomorrow, so today may be the last screenshot from the game, don’t be surprised if tomorrow...
I honestly haven’t stopped to consider it. The Wind in this game has a lot of detail too it, so i wouldn’t at all be surprised if the clouds were Dynamic. I’ve also noticed that the Sky can be clear sometimes to depending on weather/season. But that could be just a region of the texture or there are a few different textures. if i had to take a guess i’d say it’s dynamic though. Ubisoft cheaps out on a few things, but graphics doesn’t seem to be one of them
