What games would you suggest that have LAN support these days?
While PC may be one's first thought here, I'd also be really interested in any mobile games that might leverage one's local wifi network for multiplayer.
Ok so let me get this straight. 1-3 more fps, a brighter screen and a bit more battery is now considered revolutionary for portable gaming. If that were the case then the rog ally or one of the other handhelds would be considered more revolutionary for portable gaming.
If you count 60 to 90hz as increased performance then sure you get more frames. I’ve used an oled switch and it does look good but it’s definitely nothing game changing.
Steamdeck oled has a few nice to haves and nothing more. The release of the steamdeck changed the game for handheld gaming. The release of the steamdeck oled changes nothing. We’ve seen oleds on the switch, we’ve seen handhelds with good battery life and we’ve seen handhelds with high refresh rate monitors.
I cant seem to get rid of the high rent tags on my residential and industrial sectors. For residential Ive tried adding low cost housing but i dont know what to try with industrial....
I think the problem is that they try and drive to school but they get stuck in traffic for a week. Traffic flow in the city is really bad. I’m working on public transport networks now.
Lots of more interesting work with the circuit network, really liking the look of the new decider in particular - and the actual numbers on signals is going to make a lot of things much nicer to work with.
Why does it matter if they have a better translation now? The steamdeck 2 is a long way away. By the time steamdeck 2 releases I imagine their translation layer will be better than apples is today but probably not better than apples will be when steamdeck 2 releases.
First week Performance was unplayable. 2nd week its fine and I’ve forgotten about the bad performance and I’ve been enjoying the hell out of the game. It’s so good and I’m excited for future dlc, assets and mods.
Anyone interested will buy it eventually. It doesn’t matter if the release is shit they’ll buy it eventually and CO will make money from dlc sales. Based on what I’ve played so far I can tell this game is going to be amazing in a few years.
I’m not sure what framerate I’m getting but it’s good enough for me and I do get some drops. I’m on a 50k pop city with a 2070 and a ryzen 5600x and 32gb ram.
They’ve said there is a lot of room for optimization but I don’t expect to much because cs1 ran like shit for what it was.

In a pure ethical debate its wrong but on a practical level I think its fine. Steam has a 2hr no questions asked refund policy which I feel is reasonable and so I don’t pirate unless I want to play a game and not compensate the people who made it.
Freezing doing what? I’ve got modern hardware and I’m running nobara and I don’t get any issues except my Taskbar freezes on Wayland. On x11 I have no issues

I guess it shows how aware kids are these days and how intune with world news they are. As adults on the internet it’s normal for us to read and participate in discussions for these topics but I can’t imagine learning about this as a child.

I like sandbox games and I end up getting so much Value. For factorio I got it for $40 and so every 1000 hours I buy a copy and gift it to someone. Since they have no dlc or any other way to support. Also do the same with rimworld and age of empires 3 DE the main games I have lots of hours in. For league of legends I have 1000s of hours but I won’t give them a fucken cent cause I hate the game.
The thing i like most about pc is the wide array of games that require different specs. I have a pretty powerful pc but I could easily entertain myself with the lowest end pc.
The worst thing about jagex is their management. They are so out of touch and only see runescape as something to squeeze money from. They should be happy they have generated as much revenue as they have from such an old game. Last I checked it was pulling in hundreds of millions in profit.
