What’s wrong with what I wrote? A football simulation that’s trying to accurately reflect players’ skills for men, gives an unrealistically boosted skills to women players. Why?
Because what does it even matter? We should be encouraging women’s football to continue to grow, part of that is making sure it’s fun to play in games as well as competitive on the pitch.
It’s come so far in recent years, and when we’re talking about a game which is designed primarily for fun, being unhappy that women’s stats aren’t an apples and apples comparison to the men’s stats is just silly.
It says that you have an issue with the women’s game being treated in the same way as the men’s game. Video games are designed for fun, not for simulation, and there are plenty of good reasons to have women be comparable with men in a computer game.
You’d have been upset when Tony hawk games had women skaters that could ollie as high as the men too huh? Or got upset when Chun Li won in street fighter games?
You’re stating your subjective opinions about topics unrelated to the game and comparing a simulation game to some unrelated arcade games.

This is the exact opposite of what I’m saying. Men’s stats have been reflected with due diligence while women’s stats have been artificially upscaled - how is that being treated the same way?
If a core system of the game “doesn’t matter” to you then why do you even play the game?
This was a super weak article. Examples of direction from Miyamoto came in the form of two dialogue lines in the beginning of the game. I don’t even remember them.
I’m not surprised. The beginning of the interview started with a question about a statement made in 2015 that P4 was almost complete. The answer to why that was said at the time was completely lacking. A boring article for sure.
I hate all the new shitty games they pump out, they all follow the same recipe aswell. Take a classic, redo the graphics, add warzone and/or zombies gamemode and call it a new game.
I think it implies the company is continuing on but that job is no longer a position at the company. Redundant or unnecessary as opposed to a position that they intend to fill again, as you would with a firing.
Yeah, layoffs feel temporary (like furloughed government employees). I dislike both terms though, I prefer “downsizing” or something like that to clearly indicate that it’s not temporary and your job wasn’t worthless, it’s just that the company needs fewer people employed to meet budget targets.
Something that is redundant is not needed, it’s a descriptive term. Layoff is a relatively recent US euphemism meaning relax or rest which became associated with non-working periods for seasonal work then evolved to cover redundancies. The US term is the weird one here.
To me, “redundancy” means someone you don’t need, as in, their job is worthless, and “layoff” means the company can’t afford to keep everyone, so they’re temporarily reducing the workforce. What we see so often isn’t either of those, it’s just headcount reduction or downsizing.
Redundant doesn’t mean worthless. It means that you have a duplicate or something, or someone is already doing the job that you are doing. Your work still is worth something, it’s just not needed anymore.
I think the plan is to release all the cosmetic stuff after TI, so they don’t have to share the money with the pros. Probably they already know that in that way they just get more money
I’d be up for it! Though I hope they do some more grotesque bosses. They were the coolest parts of the first one, and the second one was a lot more tame for the bigger bosses.
It feels great. Have tried a couple builds as Zealot, Psyker, and Ogryn. Crazy fun, tho I expect some nerfs as the builds are a bit to strong imo. Damnation HI doesn’t even feel like a challenge right now. STG still gets crazy though, the new AI director is mean!
Tons of buffs across the board make old forgotten weapons feel good. Eviscerator and Chainsword are worth taking!
