Apparently it’s nothing to do with changing the gender, only opening the character creation screen. So you can open that screen and then just close it, and it should work again. Weird bug though!
If starfield works like every other Bethesda game, the game can’t actually change the gender directly, it instead remakes your entire character, which will reset whatever is causing the bug
I had a bug caused by the shipselling bug where each time I went through a load screen my gender and appearance randomized. So I can’t even begin to guess how all the noodles are connected.
Glad they’re finally catching up to Xbox from a platform features standpoint. Things like this were why I used to be so pro-Xbox, but that gap is narrowing rapidly.
Maybe they shouldn’t be doing everything possible to drive off consumers. Exclusivity deals everywhere, prices that don’t like to dip, multiple versions of the same game so you need to pay more for the complete thing later. I tried to get into FF with 15, and I actually really liked it. Then all this nonsense happened with FF7R and I just gave up because it seemed like a pain to try and follow the series.
I want to actually watch them do their jobs, too. Not just enter a building and forcing me to watch time go by for the 8 hours they are there. I don’t care if they’re just packing boxes for Samazon; I mean, I will watch them watching TV. Watching them do boring stuff isn’t that boring.
you never used open careers mod? it sort of works how like university life did. you get career progression from using associated objects, and are otherwise are free to talk to your coworkers, grab lunch, etc during the work day.
Doesn’t really make any sense at all to investigate it again since nothing at all changed for the EU, and the streaming changes offered for the UK make it more competition friendly.
