I have avoided spoilers for this game, as I’ve been meaning to get to it. I’m worried that isn’t gonna happen, and wonder if I will get the same experience others talk about from watching it
My friend, I still go back and beat NES games I never played before. Age doesn’t make a difference to me, it just isn’t high on the priority list
It isn’t super difficult to avoid, the game doesn’t come up super often. Typically when it does people want others to experience it blind and try not to spoil much
I’ve always known there is something to experience. Have a general idea from context clues as well, just nothing specific or certain. Maybe one day I will get to it. I’ll just jeep doing what I’m doing for now. Thank you for your response
After playing World of Warcraft for 15 years, I started becoming increasingly bored and disgruntled with the game. The game being grindy and repetitive is no real surprise, I mean it’s an MMO. But the one thing that was really frustrating was paying monthly for a subscription and a huge chunk of cash for an expansion, but...
Perfect, thanks so much! I kind of thought this but wanted to make sure. I’m not super familiar with them but have always been curious. Maybe somebody has ported it to Android
I worked at GameStop at the time. The policy was absolutely no returns on new titles that had been opened. The day after the launch was not a fun day. We even had people trade it in for probably less than half of what they paid
Fuck GameStop. They treat customers bad and employees worse. Do not fucking support them
I’ve been playing a bunch of Rusted Moss lately. It’s a Twin Stick Shooter Metroidvania, which is appreciably different from the Hack and Slash type I normally play. Getting used to mouse-and-keyboarding a platform heavy game took a bit. And boy are there platforms....
The second Guacamelee is more of the first. Nothing wrong with that, but my partner and I played them back to back, and I just couldn’t do it. I’m gonna play it eventually, I love the series, but I should have taken a break between them
I’m not trying to tell you you have to like it, or how to play your games, but there is no shame in using a guide if it helps you enjoy it more. I’ve had to come to terms with that personally
That’s awesome man! I’m super happy for you. I’ll go ahead and add it to another wishlist. Unfortunately it will probably be a long time before I will be able to actually play it, but it is great to see you succeeding
For my 13th post, I decided to post screenshots from Friday the 13th: The Game. This is an online multiplayer survival game, where one person plays as Jason Vorhees and everyone else plays as camp counselors. It’s randomly assigned, so you never know if you’re going to play as Jason or one of the counselors....
I had so much fucking fun with this game. It only worked with LFG, but when you found that full lobby of people actually playing to have fun, all with mics, it became magic
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for PS Vita. Fishing edition. Some random fishing pics I grabbed. I liked the fishing part of the game. It even slightly contributes to the story and progress if you catch them all....
The Game is Fallout New Vegas. I finally beat Dead Money. Just like how I started it I decided this would be an appropriate screenshot to end with. I ended up taking off with the gold after killing Elijah the first time for the achievement(Took him out using some C4 I planted and detonated on him). It took me a while but I...
Holy shit, has it really been 70 days already? Congrats. I’m glad you enjoyed the dlc, it is definitely an interesting one. You make me miss New Vegas a lot. I can’t wait to get back to my PC
This is my absolute favorite screenshot of mine from this game. I love it so much, I actually had it as my desktop background for a while. Just so much energy and action in this one shot! It was a satisfying scene to play through as well....
Nice screenshot! I really need to play this series! No particular reason I haven’t
I play games opposite of the way you do lol. I prefer action. I enjoy challenging platforming and combat, but I find myself zoning out during long cutscenes
That’s the best part about games. Everyone gets to enjoy them in their own way. I seem to go through phases of wanting to play alone and wanting the company of others. I haven’t even been able to play games for the past week or so. I’m not gonna force myself though, doesn’t do any good
Greetings! I retired young(ish), so I have oodles of time to enjoy my extensive Steam library. I bounce back and forth between various games every day, and I take a ton of screenshots during my gameplay, so I’ll post some of the better ones I have....
Awesome, thanks for all the info. I was trying to own and play a game for every letter of the alphabet, and that is how I stumbled across the Ys series personally. I didn’t end up playing a whole lot, but that was because of life, not a lack of enjoyment. Eventually I’d love to get a Vita. Been wanting one for a while
It was a little more difficult 10 or so years ago when I started. I think Yakuza was still Sony exclusive. I’m 99% sure I started Zero on PS4, and I only play exclusives on it. These days it isn’t difficult at all for the owning part, but I think playing an A-Z challenge would still be fun
So i kinda want to buy FFXVI but looking through the opinions and reviews it stands somewhere between the worst final fantasy game ever made and second coming of jesus wit plot ranging from infantile dark fantasy to great story with deep engaging dark themes....
I’m still working my way through New Vegas. I assembled the crew tonight in Dead Money. I have found the ghost people pretty easy to deal with. I think I may be over leveled for it and stat dumping into guns definitely helped. The hologram guards freaked me out a little despite knowing how to beat them. After rescuing...
It is September now which means my wife has decided it is fall and time to celebrate 2 months of Halloween. Anyone have and spooky game recommendations?
Just what I came here for! Not spooky, but entirely Halloween themed. I beat the first, but never got around to playing much of the second. A pretty simple turn based RPG, but the costumes you put on your party become the actual thing they are in battle. Very cute and fun games
Why didn’t I look harder? I’ve been wanting to try the game and only have my tablet. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I’m going to see if I’m able to utilize it in my situation
To be specific, the Xbox One Elite controller. I really liked the Series 2 but it fell apart on me. I never had much issue with the original. I’m a glutton for punishment though, and I’d get another Series 2. I don’t mind working on them so it isn’t the biggest deal
I really love the Switch Pro controller, but I wish it had analog triggers. I also have love for the GameCube controller. I am at home with the N64 controller, but I can’t say it’s a favorite
It’s probably because I have bias, but I’ve never cared for any of Sony’s offerings. Something about the sticks doesn’t feel right with both being at the bottom
I’m switching to Linux when I get set up again. Fuck the Recall bull shit. Straw that broke the camels back. I had not considered controller drivers. Is Xbox One over Bluetooth a thing, or will I need to go with Sony?
Oh, I like all of those changes except adjusting grip. I’m not familiar with flipstick. I went from tiger claw, to bumper jumper, to all paddles
I have this problem where my thumbs are naturally oily and touchpads arent always super responsive. The best fix I’ve found is gloves with the (conductive?) material. Do you know if the Deck uses the same type of touchpads as the controller? I also had issues with the New 3DSXL nub
Interesting. I don’t have the biggest hands (fuck the Duke) and I didn’t notice the size difference. I don’t think I could go back to a 360 controller. The XBOne feels like the final form
Sorry to keep asking questions, but what is harder to repair? Swapping the sticks? I’ve worked on so many JoyCons at this point regular sized controllers don’t bother me much
Oh, that’s interesting, and I don’t like it lol. I play inverted and people hate on me hard. Usually just the Y-Axis, but some older games for the X-Axis as well
You refuse to take constructive criticism, you lashed out at me, and you have no etiquette. I don’t know what else I can tell you. If everyone is the ass hole, maybe you should do some self reflecting
