Noticed this just moments ago and got this email. At first seeing this I thought that were forcing users into arbitration like many other companies have trended towards. That and the denial of class action suits included in many ToS agreements take away the users rights....

What do I do with my PS5 discs if I buy the Pro one day? Are they just unusable? Will I be able to get a digital copy for free since I already paid them for the disc they stopped supporting?

It seems like there’s no sane migration path from PS5 with disc drive to the PS5 Pro.

Unless I missed it multiple times, I’m amazed that Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t on the list at all but something like Mini Motorways is. No offense to Mini Motorways, but RDR2 was a mind-blowing game for me.

If I was looking for a game to play right now, and The Last Of Us 2 was my choice, I’d go with the remaster over the original though. I think most people would, so I think it’s a good recommendation.

So what would he do that’s not illegal but bad enough to get banned? What would he do that would also explain why people are saying he was messaging minors for a meet up? Why would Twitch pay out the contract?

I hadn’t seen the post on Twitter, I don’t use Twitter. Looks like he posted that about an hour before I commented, so it’s not like you’d expect everyone in the world to have seen it.

Having read it I’ve obviously got new information and can update my opinion accordingly.

To be clear, though, he hadn’t made this statement until today, and so everyone until now was acting based on hearsay, not proof.

Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not. These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.

Not only is it just 2 seconds, but it’s 2 seconds while the game is no doubt being loaded into memory while it plays anyway.

This is like whining about the Pixar animation that plays before all of their movies (for much longer than 2 seconds).

Sure, and the Spectrum ZX I used to use 35 years ago had even less. The GameCube is ancient history, it’s not the benchmark for a reasonable amount of memory for anyone.

I drove 2200 miles for this solar eclipse. I booked a place here in Dallas last year, and now it seems like it’s going to be cloudy with rain and thunder. :-/

I convinced my dad to fly over and join the road trip.
