When servicing other folks bikes, particularly older & lower end bikes, I get a lot of trouble adjusting worn & poorly engineered indexed front derailleurs.
Just run friction, especially on front derailleurs. Few set up issues & so easy to trim.
Starfield's second update fixes infinite money puddles, but not flying cities.
I've read several comments here and elsewhere that Bethesda's Starfield is "a mile-wide but deep as a puddle", or variations on that theme. Said commenters might be tickled to know that there is, in fact, a puddle in the game's Akila City that contains infinite loot: by dint of peering into it, you'll magically gain access to a nearby store's inventory. Strip the shelves, then wait a day or two, and you'll be able to do so again, forever and ever. Or at least, that was the case till this week's Starfield patch, a small update consisting of exactly ten bulletpoints, including one that tackles "an issue that allowed for a vendor's full inventory to be accessible". Boo! Time to go looking for another convenient in-game metaphor, I guess. Perhaps there's something incredibly clever you can say about all the flying cities.

Zauważyłem wczoraj coś bardzo niepokojącego w rowerze: rytmiczne drganie z okolic tylnego koła, rozchodzące się wibracjami i wyraźnie odczuwalne w siodle i trochę lżej na kierownicy.
Najpierw ignorowałem, bo myślałem, że to tylko kwestia jazdy po leśnych wybojach, ale po wyjechaniu na asfalt nie tylko nie przestało, ale stało się wyraźniejsze, bo nie było już innych źródeł drgań.
Sprawdziłem od razu czy koło jest dobrze wsadzone i proste, ale wszystko wydaje się OK. Będę musiał umówić się na serwis, może oni znajdą co to.
Mieliście coś takiego? Co to może być? Mam nadzieję, że nie jakieś pękniecie ramy... :/
@bobiko Trochę km mają te gumy zrobione :) A jeszcze tył przytarłem o krawężnik DDR wczoraj, bo ktoś uznał że dwa zakręty 90° jeden po drugim na szybkiej ścieżce przez las, to kapitalny pomysł.
Czy jest możliwe, żeby tak zaszyfrować wiadomość, żeby w zależności jakiego klucza użyję, uzyskam inną wiadomość?
I nie chodzi o to, że np. początek wiadomości jest zaszyfrowany jednym kluczem, środek drugim, a końcówka trzecim, żeby trzy różne klucze odsłoniły tylko jeden fragment.
Celem jest, żeby osoba która próbuje odszyfrować wiadomość metodą siłową, nawet jak uzyska wiadomość inną niż szum, to i tak nie wie, czy jest to właściwa wiadomość.
Kind of annoyed with White Industries at the moment. The original press-fit bearings in my Stanyan’s MI5 rear hub needed replacement a long while ago, so I had my local bike shop order them (which took forever to be shipped by Enduro) and swap them out. Unfortunately, the same amount of play persisted after the bearing swap despite said shop following White Industries’s directions to the T multiple times. My shop has called White Industries multiple times only to not be given any recourse.
I’ve been out that Stanyan for several weeks now and I don’t know if I should just get a different hub put in the wheel or something at this point. :blobfoxannoyed:
Do you see a lot of cargo-bicycles (trikes, two-wheelers with baskets, bikes with trailers etc.) in your daily life? And what appears to be the most common usage; work-bikes, kid-transport, general use, shopping?
Mine: Rural Denmark (town with some surprisingly large companies). Cargo-trikes and bike-trailers are a very common daily sight. They appear to be used equally for kid-transport and general use. Two wheeled cargo-bikes are less common.
@Pepijn Most are kids-transport, we ourselves used a trailer quite often for our two kids. Now i'm hoping for a plan to rebuild it as cargotrailer (sorry, only in german).
But i really wouldn't need to, because in our town, the local student association offers two-wheeled and other cargobikes to lent for free.
An use by craftsmen is seldom, i rarely remember any...
