Not super excited by the skills. A lot of “you get x% more bla” or “you can carry X more weight” Was hoping to see a lot more tech/engineering/etc skills. But will wait for the thing to come out before judging too harshly.
I’m still mad they killed friends and family plan. If they had offered it here I would have gladly paid but no way I’m buying game pass three times for my whole family
I find talking protagonists in RPGs with customizable characters a two edged sword. It can work out great, but if your voice not fit the character you're playing, or is even highly dislikable for you, then it becomes a real big issue in regards to immersion and enjoyment. Silent protagonists allow you to use a specific headvoice for your character.
I loved the darkness games. I really hope they do well with it and get another game out of it in the future. The universe there is so fucking cool & i think they could expand on it so much more.
A remaster of the first one would be amazing though. The 2nd one is on steam and I just replayed that one few months ago. The first one is on xbox 360 and i dont think its even available on the xbox one or pc.
I just recently quit Game Pass because I wasn’t really using it for a while. I knew before but never really understood how terrible renting games actually is.
So instead of re-subscribing to Game Pass once more I just bought Starfield on Steam.
Steam kind of does, I mean, if you have the achievement showcase on your profile, it'll totally say how many games you've gotten all the achievements for. That's about it though. Steam doesn't seem to care all that much about achievements.
I had a look at the trailer and I didn’t like the style. But perhaps it is a nice game, I’ve been wrong before when just watching the trailer. Put Gris on my Play later. Thanks for the tip!
Not sure of the rip off part but when I saw the game play my first thought was of CupHead. Nothing wrong with that. I like the graphics. Wonder if it is just as hard to play?
I dunno, there’s a point where a game draws too much inspiration from another game and just makes it feel like another dev just trying to make that game instead of their own.
Seems like the most signature things seeming that way are the jump animations (doing a constant tuck roll in the air) from the characters, and having them shoot projectiles from their fingertips.
I like the Cuphead animation approach enough that I’m willing to forgive it. Heck, if it was just advertised as “small studio makes low-budget Cuphead DLC” I enjoy Cuphead enough that it would still be interesting.
