I hate this trend. I dont really care about the game itself, I just hate this thing that publishers do when they delay a game purely because they want to min-max sales.
Another way to look at it is to say that if it comes out and gets absolutely killed then you’ll likely never see a sequel, regardless of how good a game it is. Look at Titanfall 2.
Sadly no I don’t think monitors support that. Or at least mine doesn’t. The audio menu on the Xbox UI is inaccessible. Unless I have an actual headset plugged in.
Even tried hooking my controller to speaker but that didn’t seem to work.
Not sure of the rip off part but when I saw the game play my first thought was of CupHead. Nothing wrong with that. I like the graphics. Wonder if it is just as hard to play?
I dunno, there’s a point where a game draws too much inspiration from another game and just makes it feel like another dev just trying to make that game instead of their own.
Seems like the most signature things seeming that way are the jump animations (doing a constant tuck roll in the air) from the characters, and having them shoot projectiles from their fingertips.
I like the Cuphead animation approach enough that I’m willing to forgive it. Heck, if it was just advertised as “small studio makes low-budget Cuphead DLC” I enjoy Cuphead enough that it would still be interesting.
Isn’t this a betrayal of trust? She disclosed the stuff after the fact, how can you trust her again? She should have said she works for them for the beginning.
Considering how much work Elianora has done for the modding community, not really.
Plus, it’s active game dev. Of course they’re gonna have to sign a form of NDA, and given they’re known for their work, it makes sense that BethSoft would have a clause stopping any discussion of work before launch.
If you’ve played all the mainline Bethesda games until now, I’m pretty sure you’re not gonna be worried that this will flop. I haven’t played it yet myself, but I’m only seeing great things about the game so far.
Elianora never made a “Skyrim Clutter mod”, but she did make dozens of immaculate player homes that have extremely well thought out clutter within them.
This isn’t a huge surprise either, as she worked with Bethesda in making some of the CC content.
