The issues that started occurring on Sunday turned out to be more serious than anticipated, extending beyond the application code. We are still working on resolving them to ensure the proper functioning of the website, but we need some more time. Apologies for any inconvenience.
There's literally no location indicator for the instances servers so I'm not sure how you expect me to do that. And smaller instances are more likely to get abandoned, go down and vanish.
I know why I quit competitive multiplayer & open pvp games a long time ago. It's just too toxic and people are more into griefing weaker players than actually testing themselves against equal or even stronger foes who also want to fight.
Step 1: Release a shit game early that's nothing like its trailer and produce a shit ton of publicity through its consequential shit storm.
Step 2: Spent development time on it that you had originally planned for it anyway to fix things up a little bit, without ever reaching the state of the original trailer and get all the praise for being a shitty company because you've apparently done some magical redemption arc.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit - and then do it all over again because people are gullible idiots.
You can apply the same shit to CP2077 and other games btw. At this point it is beneficial to just release a game in a shitty state because now you have the opportunity to use it as some PR mechanism of how great you are as a company for still caring for your games even after a shitty launch.
Or simply the terrible the state it was in. Took them to 1.6 to finally fix the stupid framerate degradation, at least partially. And things like the story will obviously never be fixed.
I do it with obvious lurker / alt accounts that are otherwise not active and apparently just exist to downvote other people. Legit accounts and especially those who could actually provide some valid counterpoints aren't receiving this treatment. This also includes a block, so consider this message a friendly courtesy of mine, but also the last thing you'll hear from me, as I have better things to do than argue with internet trolls. Have a nice vote manipulative day.
Why would they do that if they aren't mutually exclusive to one another? I'd get this notion if they'd started to do some sort of alternate way of providing for the SK market where their original platform would have been in the way but why close off profitable branches for no reason at all?
Now I just need to find a convenient way to save this piece of code and copy-paste it whenever I need it 🤔
Honestly, I'd just suggest to add a button for it in the editor after the code one? I think it's a common enough thing to use to warrant it. For every other formatting maybe a little link for a pop up or expandable that shows the remaining formatting rules, similar to how it was on old.reddit.
Today, I began testing a new instance deployment process, which is an absolute must-have before the release. I also initiated preparations for new test environments that I will be using for developing the federation. The first iteration of comment wrapping has been introduced on the instance as well.
Yeah. What kind of idiotic accident would even cause this? That's specifically programmed functions to do exactly what it did. That's honestly a mind blowingly bad excuse to make.
Guess another reason on the pile of shit of why I continue to boycott this trash company.
It amazes me that covidiots still don't understand the difference between inside and outside spaces for that matter. If people breath and cough around the outside, shit will just be swept away by the wind. If people do that in enclosed spaces, then they'll just start to saturate the air with germs over its prolonged time. And then you even expect them to take off the mask when they're in the witness stand? Do you think that's like a germ free zone? lol
While Take-Two is riding high on their announcement that a GTA 6 trailer is coming, its CEO has some…interesting ideas on how much video games could cost, part of a contingent of executives that believe games are underpriced, given their cost, length or some combination of the two.
Welcome to the CC simps, because you're certainly not the only one who does that. It's generally a no brainer considering that they also still offer a demo to just try it out. Of course that doesn't tell you much about the great story and characters, but I think the fluidity of the movement and combat system definitely can convince people over already.
I think tech like this makes way more sense for like random ass NPCs. Like the ones cluttering the background of a city or whatever. AI could really enhance them and make them interesting.
Squadron 42 is the single player campaign of Star Citizen, that is supposed to launch as a separate game. It's basically a small portion of Star Citizen, but with a story and ending. I'm still not confident; waited too long for that.
Right after headlines of SC losing the faith of the community. lol
Also, Starfield has already launched. Not that I would even compare the two titles but Squadron 42 has still to prove its actual existence.
That's easy when you consider that there hasn't been basically any sort information about S42 for a long time now. Still doesn't really prove anything about a potentially finished product.
The game didn't open up for me until about 8-10 hours in and felt really weird and restricted during that time. No idea what impression of freedom, exploration and progression you're talking about here because the beginning does not give you anything like that at all with how it makes you follow the very boring main quest.
And the latest version is Unity based. Also, I'd say the only thing that prevents Enterbrain to do a similar move, is simply that they don't even have nearly the same significance & reach as Unity. RPG Maker always was a niche product, even if it a popular one at that. But you don't really see big commercial game releases that are based on it like you do with Unity.
We'll have to see how this Unity thing plays out, but if this isn't going to be the engine's downfall, then it will become a new norm for others to follow.
The argument “it looks worse so it should be cheaper” is kind of questionable, when the console they are buying it for just doesn’t allow for much better considering the art direction.
I disagree.
When you have to pay the same or more for something less then that's simply not justified for the consumer. If the console can't handle anything better and is that expensive to port over, then you should simply not port your game over to it. If that's a general Switch problem, then the Switch maybe shouldn't be a thing either. I thought that's how markets are supposed to work, no?
When you meet Sam & Cora they'll refer to you by your pronoun while they talk about you.
The whole thing is just to make the character generation non binary, that's it. I don't see why this is such a big deal for some people. I'm a cis male, I select a masculine body type and go with he / him, or maybe they / them, and be done with it. It does nothing but help others feel more included.
Terrible analogy. It's just turning the binary male / female into non binary body types & pronouns to be more inclusive for those who fall outside the norm on the spectrum of things.
Aside from you being transphobic, you should realize that the people complaining about pronouns are also the people who complain about the "replaced white people" and "female leaders" in the game. So I guess black people and women are also political, by your logic?
You might've missed their initial dialog in the lodge, which happened in that garden area. You can find her typically in the basement where she has her room and she will be on board of your ship if you assign Sam onto it. The kids in Starfield are actually pretty cute and wholesome, unlike the literal spawns of Satan from Skyrim.
