I’ve been playing Nioh 2 and got about 80% done when I couldn’t do the repetitive missions anymore. I know it’s supposed to be like Diablo where you’re supposed to do the same missions over again in harder modes to farm, but I don’t really enjoy that kind of thing. Hopefully this one’s not like that.
I was really enjoying Nioh 2 until I got to a level that was just a boss rush of a bunch of old bosses I had already beaten. No thanks. Never picked it back up.
I loved Death Stranding, but anyone else feel like that guy putting on the bandana might have been Kojima making a little dig at David Hayter?
The character design looks very reminiscent of the MGS Delta materials we’ve seen, and Hayter has been more open lately about how miffed he was when Kojima dumped him for Kiefer in MGS V. That coupled with how much promo work Hayter has been doing for Delta makes me think it wouldn’t be too surprising if Kojima was annoyed with him.
Lots of people complain when the game is called a walking simulator, but I got very excited seeing all the different environments we’ll be able to traverse. Hoping to have a little bit of Lockne / Mama somehow. The mechas were something curious, then they doubled down at the end.
The combat gameplay during open beta was terrible feeling to me. This video makes it look like a Diablo clone though… Did the game change that much? Or is this just a hype video and the core mechanics are still kind of wonky?
I dream of this battle system years ago after playing Tales of Berseria, hopefully it won’t disappoint. They also extend the battle system to go beyond 1v1 or 2v2 huh, you can 1v3 wild poke. Now i do wonder what will happen to their mainline, people definitely gonna want more of this than the traditional pokemon battle.
Don’t know if I’d say “people” want more of this. Me, a nearly middle aged adult does, but the traditional battle system is more than enough for their primary audience who are children.
