Hey, here’s a radical thought… don’t force yourself to finish something just because you paid for it. A lot of games accumulated were prior to generous refund policy and back in the days of Bundles and stuff. Why would you force yourself to play something you don’t like.
Exactly. People wonder why so many are praising Gaben, but decision to refund any game for any reason within 2h of play or 2 weeks of ownership is an awesome one. So many times game looks entertaining only to realize it’s bad.
Lol, I flip like 10+ each war, I remember one time the npc I was destroying in the war had the audacity to claim more of my systems while I was on the border of his home system, so I claimed his home and took it too.
Since she’s a “companion”, she leaves an orb when she goes over. At least she did when the game came out (source, I’m definitely rocking her outfit after throwing her over)
Didn’t have trouble second time. I play like a big dumb dumb cause it both makes it more fun and also I play like a dumb dumb thinking I’m smart. I get there eventually.
Ragzlin you can put a bunch of firewine barrels on his little stage and then lure everyone next to the barrels using minor illusion. Then if you throw a firebolt at the barrels or drop the hanging brazier, boom. That usually takes out everyone except Ragzlin if you use two or three barrels. The priestess you can drop a silence on in her room that she leads you to and she wont call for help. Easy to blow her up and just walk away whistling.
Nothing says fun like trying to relax and play a game . Oh no you need an update to the game…Oh did I say game I mean the custom launcher…here is our ads for our other games to click through…oh you must want to go to a webpage…whoops can’t connect to online even if you don’t want to play online…Ok you finally connected oh but the settings have been reset because of the update…Oh wait the cloud sync didn’t work…
And when you finally get the game to run, it needs to compile shaders. Then it need to download another update, from inside the game (and sometimes even restart the game… Looking at you, MW2! ) And the user agreement have changed so you are forced to scroll to the bottom of one or more LONG legal text before you can click “Accept”. And then a season intro cutscene (fortnite and CoD games does that). Then maybe a “Whats new” screen…
I remember Commodore 64 games could take up to 30 minutes to load. But at least I could just go make some food while waiting. Didn’t have to sit there and press buttons.
Wow Ubisoft game launcher opens in… Never? Wtf I paid money for this game and then I need to buy it again because they didn’t actually give me the account and now the launcher is just dead and I can’t even open it.
Fuck that. I bought one of the assassins creed games legitimately, then had it refuse to launch after a few weeks because they updated their launcher and borked it. I then pirated that same game to bypass the launcher issue and pirated every other ubisoft game since then.
If I have to pirate games to get around a deliberate flaw you worked into your program, I’m not paying for that game.
Yeah I paid $30 for rainbow 6 siege I expect to be able to play it for more than 2 weeks. Like honestly it would be so much cheaper and easier to just use the steam launcher, since the game is already sold there, but no they have to be special.
