to be fair, that is the whole point of the game, its competitive, i miss lightbikes on iphone, was a fun ripoff with new mechanics like 3d maps (multiple rotated planes lol), jumping, and boosting, added a lot to the game
I thought the weapons were samey until I saw some videos discussing it. The weapon combination system is crazy! Some of them genuinely feel unique, playable, and fresh (though I did not reason my way into any of these on my own).
Roblox is a pure abyss devoid of humanity and I wish them just the worst. Also I belive 100% that everything you wrote is the truth, but I also believe in adding some sources when the matter is of such a significance
I made a post about it for a more general discussion but I think it’s worth saying here too: Chris Hansen is an irresponsible hack at best and he is very likely to misinform. There are far better people around if you want to learn about the many harms to children caused by Roblox.
It is a little stiff concerning the combat portion of the game. I just played Banishers Ghost of New Eden. So maybe that is why I feel like it is rigid combat model.
I think the early weapons are stiff but the later ones have better move sets. What is cool is if you find a move set you like it is attached to the handle, so you can swap that with a blade you’ve upgraded. New moves, retain your upgrades. Unfortunately doesnt work with the special weapons, which tend to have some of the better move sets too, but still a neat feature.
This is, very unfortunately, what happens in every internet space which is targeted towards children and allows communication among users. It is by far the easiest way for anonymous predatory adults to make contact with typically unattended children. I would like at some point to see a child-oriented space on the internet have the highest priority of children’s safety at some point, but there hasn’t been one yet.
I mean I’m sure there’s been some… but well how popular would they be. I mean the long and short of how it has to be done… no private messages, all public messages heavily monitored. Which unfortunately isn’t a recipe for making a site popular with kids.
I don’t know how spooky youre looking for, but Obscure and Obscure II: The Aftermath are classic co-op Survival Horror gameg. Well, theyre not that scary, really. Sometimes it makes you laugh because of how ridiculous it is. But still, the game was fun and when I played the game with my brother, I went in with zero expectations and walked away fairly impressed.
Abiotic Factor can be a bit spooky at times in the same way the game that inspired it, Half-Life, was sometimes spooky.
Both Resident Evil Outbreak games on PS2 are playable on emulator but they have a pretty involved setup process. If you have the technical capability to follow the instructions, that could be fun. Of course, with RE, there is also Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, which aren’t really call that scary since theyre more action focused, but they are cooperative capable.
Sons of the Forest is also pretty good if you are looking for a more open world survival atyle game. Also has quite a few spooky moments and enemies.
In that same idea, Project Zomboid is like a zombie apocalypse Diablo. But with more survival based mechanics. The game isnt that scary once you figure stuff out, but the risk is always there that your character could permanently die at any moment.
Why would they stop working with Roblox? It’s the perfect platform for their execs to use when they’re looking to cheat on their SOs.
Porn is too heavily regulated for them, so they don’t like it. To begin with, it has a minimum age requirement that’s much higher than Roblox.
Payment processors (and any banks that are a part of it) can’t really be hated more than they already are. It’s amazing how much someone can fuck over society as a whole without any remorse. Narcissists and psychopaths I guess. I hope I see the companies cease to exist at some point during my life, and not be replaced with something worse (or equally as bad).
I negative-one that recommendation. Game is very hard to play well when you’re new; I’m used to lots of games in that style and GTFO was impossible; always hard to tell what players should be doing and is very unforgiving. Unless both players are hardcore gamers I wouldn’t recommend it.
This whole pedo affair is only the final nail in the coffin of morality for Shitblox. From a gaming perspective, the outrageously predatory (pun intended) microtransactions and Robux currency do absolutely not belong on a children‘s gaming hub where probably >50% of players don‘t even have a real understanding of money yet. And parents don‘t care, as we see with social media in general. Apple pay, google pay etc. make it purposefully easier to make repeated card payments by children using their parent‘s info. In this economy btw, so Uh-Oh thats baaaad. Just shut the whole circus down and buy your kids single player games on steam sale.
I played it as a kid 25 years ago, but Day9 was replaying it recently and I had to go back and try it. It’s so good, especially the campy live action cutscenes 🤌. There was definitely a lot of humor that went over my head as a kid 😂.
