Fun fact, in the latest edition of the game, you can actually stop blue shells with the pow like horn thing. It’s tricky to time, but man is it a surprise to your player two!
Oh, I love this game! Really short and easy, and the narrator is fantastic. But I might be a little bias, since Dagon is my favorite in the Cthulhu Mythos, haha.
So glad I got the indecisive spending guilt disfunction instead of the insecure hoarding disfunction. /s
I also feel bad knowing I’ve got games I don’t love in my “library.” I need it to be as tight a list as possible, so I anguish over each and every one.
I know I can “hide” the games, but God still sees them.
Game is huge. Do use cheats for potions or ingredients. Check popular mods that give easy way around cumbersome tasks.
And, if you’re like me and always play spellcasters instead of fighters in RPGs, do check some builds after certain level (20s?). Get griffin set of course, do know there are levels for its items.
Me explaining how Quake is actually two franchises but how id software has never really had good creative direction, so they mostly got lucky with their hits.

I played Athena then because I liked her design and after seeing her in Tales from the Borderlands. If I ever replay the game I would try the more “out there” option like Claptrap.
Honestly now that I wrote it out I remember TPS maps weren’t as fun as BL2’s hence me not replaying the game back then.
I quite liked the maps myself and the story whilst perhaps a little to obvious was fun.
My biggest problem was the enemy/mission level scaling which found you falling behind the main story mission quite easily making for some either very tough fights or some less than thrilling side quest farming.
Oh and how long it took to unlock weapon slots 3 & 4. Such a slog!

I sometimes forget what is in my library, so posting about a new game every day helps me to work through some games I’ve forgotten about, or discover new ones I bought in a bundle and never got around to playing.

The Zombie Army franchise is amazing. They really excelled at making the hordes of zombies particularly spooky. Plus the infamous sniper elite slow motion shots will never not be lit.🔥
