Enshrouded, it is surprisingly good. And there is so much content. I can highly recommend it to anyone that likes the genre. It got overshadowed by palworlds launch just a week before, but in terms of gameplay, completeness and optimization, enshrouded is miles ahead.
I’m on my 3rd set of Xbox one controllers. The old Xbox 360 controllers would last for years before needing new electrical components. But these new ones are just junk. I tried to resolder one but the tolerance in there now so tight that I ended up frying it… So gave up on that idea.
I have the Valve Index and my game plan is that I have a soldering iron and the Aliexpress link ready to go. I have not owned it long enough to know how good or bad the life span is yet though. Just based off the rumors I looked into how to get the stick replacement before buying.
I can attest to how mine lasted which might help. I used it semi regularly maybe once or twice a week for the first 2 months. After on and off use it lasted for 7-8 months before the right joystick started to drift but I do know I could be a little rough with it while playing Boneworks so I’m sure that didn’t help.
I did the repair on the right controller with the cheap Ali express joystick and found it to be a massive improvement in quality and actually clicks in propperly now.
It’s not an amazingly easily repair and I’ll admit to damaging the capacitive touch on my joystick due to being a bit rough on the dissasembly. But if your half competent with soldering and got a decent toolkit then go for it.
Not sure why “stop shooting me” is where it is. I only played like 10-15 hours of Lethal Company, but I never once saw a gun in the game. In DRG, on the other hand, every dwarf has multiple voice lines about being shot by their teammate
Still just a heavily modded Skyrim playthrough that still remains perfectly lore-friendly. But I’m strongly considering playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance soon. Unfortunately for me, the prospect of modding the hell out of Morrowind again is also calling to me.
I’m still jamming on PalWorld. Set up a dedicated server and have 4 other people who hop on randomly and play, it’s great to come across them while exploring. It feels like an alive world. Almost level 50 and breeding all the uber monsters with 4 legendary stats. This game just scratches all the right itches, and it doesn’t even have the quests, raids, or other content they are planning yet. Too fun.
How’s Helldivers been? I was a big fan of the first game but I’m having trouble justifying the full price purchase with a lot of the reviews talking about crashes. I’ll still probably end up buying it though.
I’m also a big fan of the first game. It’s literally the same game but with a huge graphic upgrade. You will not be surprised by the gameplay loop.
But the big plus is the ambiance. I feel like I’m in an action movie (the fog, the effects, the music) and with friends it’s awesome to share that feeling.
I don’t have experienced any crashes so far on PS5. But we had long queues at the release. It’s far better now (1-2 minutes yesterday). However the quickplay is still broken for me (tried yesterday). So if you don’t have a group of friends to play with, it’s gonna be rough without matchmaking.
Friend convinced me to try Helldivers 2 this past weekend. I had fun, but I also don’t think it’s as great as the hype it’s getting either. Friend thinks it will be a long term playing game but I felt like I saw most of what it offered in 3 days of playing. Guess we’ll see. I’m also trying out the FF7 rebirth demo. Wish I had more time to play stuff but this is all I have currently.
