Took me a minute… I have to jump through many self made hoops to get new websites through my firewall’s DNS filter and I don’t enable http. It is however on archive. I’m probably the only nerd here with such masochistic network, but whatever. Thanks for the comment. Tycho was a character, that’s for sure.

(47m/8b) × 100 = 0.5875% of the world. Those numbers are likely total accounts as well and nowhere near the real active users. I bet many of these are also systems with multiple users or users with multiple accounts. Reported numbers are usually unverified and inflating them as much as possible is in the best interest of Sony on may fronts.

It is neither here nor there. I used to love the first few generations of PS stuff, but I really see no reason for consoles like these any more. I owned everything I played back then. I find it rather pathetic that my right to own has been stolen.

I’m presently taking a snack break from Cataclysm DDA after tracking down foods with better iron content in the game. Under that I have a bash script and Emacs running with my mods to the game. I’ve been playing all afternoon and making little odds and ends for the game. Sorry if my perspective from a non dystopian space rubs the wrong way. What I’m doing isn’t for everyone, but if everyone had some better self control and the character to stand up for themselves, you will find that you get your rights back from these asshats, or you will get them from the next generation of platforms that rise from the ashes. The only terms that actually matter are the ones you’re willing to put money into. I back up that statement. I’m on a 12th gen Intel with 16 GB GPU. I would be playing AAA titles but there are no game manufacturers. I don’t care if I’m the only person unwilling to adopt feudalism and serve some tyrant overlord on their yacht. So be it.

I imagine the yellowish tinted areas are mostly sulfur from volcanic ash emissions. That middle picture, in the section between the two mare, it looks like how beach sand is altered after being inundated with water. In general, most of the surface looks like pulverized sand on a beach, at a high level abstracted perspective view. That one section between the mare looks whetted by comparison. Perhaps ash altered the consistency enough to create a similar type of compacted appearance, but if there was water and vulcanism in the area, perhaps that was the Lunar version of Yellowstone.

Funny that the most recent research on the anomalous regions inside the Earth’s mantle have now been linked to the Theia collision through the mantle hotspot activity. So it is likely that the moon and Yellowstone are directly linked. It would be interesting to find that the regional anomalies on the moon are likewise of a similar origin. It would be interesting to me if Yellowstone’s doppelganger is right there in plain sight as well.

One in a million chance to ask such a niche nonsense rando and expect an answer, but… does anyone have a clue what the green machine in the blurred background on the shelf is?

The (likely) wheels on top look like a press, kinda like I’d expect from a rubber vulcanizing press. The side covers look like it’s either geared or belted. The side opposite the beefy lever arm looked like a motor to me at first, but that doesn’t make sense for the lever arm IMO.

I don’t know the guy or reference, but that looks like an electronics lab with prototyping capabilities; something I do as a hobby too. The machine might be related to screen printing, toner transfer, photo lithography, a film based solder mask or even multi-layer composite stacks for printed circuit boards, based on my limited knowledge. It would be fun to know what that is exactly.

I released my first game on Steam and got rid of impostor syndrome!

My first game Mushy Score is out on Steam! I have been creating games since I was a child but never felt like a real game dev. Now I finally have a game that I can show to other people.

Mushy Score is a 2D Roguelike where you fight against endless waves of enemies. Collect points and try to get a high score! I am super exited for the release !

If you like similar games go check it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2480740/Mushy_Score/
