EDIT - Close to the add button Is written [Base game] and even after adding it to my library i can still see the 9$ dlc option in the menu. Either way is not too clear so I’ll let the (base game) in the title.
Same experience here. I’ve already owned the base game, but none of the DLC. It let me accept Spacer’s Choice, which is literally just another store entry for the base game, but you can buy the upgrade for 10$ instead of 17$.
Update: I’ve done some research. Apparently this version of the game is like a third-party remaster done by a different company, hence why it’s a different entry in the store
My receipt, screen I selected for the game, and everything I see and can tell says it’s the spacers choice edition, which is the edition that includes the DLC.
I think the giveaway just doesn’t include the $9.99 dlc to upgrade the base game if you already have it to the spacers choice edition. In other words, if you have the base game only, get this giveaway and you’ll have the dlc for free via spacers choice edition.
I’m currently playing ultimate ninja 5. As a kid I never unlocked the yellow flash so finally came back to it and cleared master mode. Love the specials in these games, so cinematic
WoW classic season of discovery! It’s my first time playing classic and I’ve been having a lot of fun. Just hit 25 the other day and starting world PVP, so much fun at these low levels.
Fallout 4. After the disappointment that was Starfield, I had a hankering for a Bethesda style game and while not perfect Fallout 4 is just miles ahead and is still a lot of fun today.
Started playing yesterday, I can agree. I just need to get used to playing slower. It's so easy to put it on speed three and then suddenly I am falling behind and can't deal with the issues anymore.
I was playing Laika for a bit. The difficulty is pretty brutal - one of the harder games I’ve played in awhile. Like, you can randomly die from basic movement mechanics if you’re not paying attention. I wasn’t having fun anymore, so I had to drop it.
Moved on to Going Under, and that’s a lot more my speed
I’m absolutely smitten with Cobalt Core. It’s been called “FTL meets Slay the Spire,” but I’d say it’s more the former than the latter (which works for me, I liked FTL a lot more). There’s also a dash of Hades-style storytelling. This won’t have the legs StS can have for the deckbuilding nerds, but I’m having a blast with it.
The writing cracks me up, the soundtrack is phenomenal, and the strategy is keeping me engaged. Also, must protect Riggs at all costs. 💜
Coaltown needs more commuters, that smog isnt going to make itself. Agrarville needs more land for crops, which sucks for all of the residents who i think i’ll drop a natural disaster on top of. Industopia needs more cashflow for a harbor, and the city planning advisor will never shut up about adding more rail and road connections.
ive heard good things but i havent checked it out! know if its reasonably playable by one’s lonesome? i work shift work which makes coordinating game time with friends pretty hard.
I’m currently playing one of the games in Last Call BBS: 20th Century Food Court.
For anyone familiar with the Zachtronics catalog of games it’s like someone bolted one of the programming games onto one of their factory games, but the programming part is done using cables. Unsurprisingly, programming with cables gets quite messy, so even after a short break I usually have to restart a puzzle because I don’t recognize what part was supposed to do what anymore.
Doom/Skyrim solo, CSD3/Spiral Knights/CoDBO3 in coop
Pretty sad that BO3 is in a buggy state that will make the game stutter or worst case murder your FPS. Also wished the Zombies DLC would get cheaper after almost 10 years.
