Narratively it goes off the rails and it has some pacing and balance issues as well, but it's still a great game.
And how refreshing is it to see a great looking RPG that doesn't feel the need to be an action game? Maybe they can convince Square to stop making crappy button mashers and go back to making good to great turn based games for all those cool combat animations.
So far I’m loving it, and I say this as someone that has played Oblivion every few months since release. I had to move the original to my external drive to make room for the remaster. Still just getting, started but so far it’s a very faithful upgrade.
I’m playing it on the Series X and it runs smoother than the OG while looking like a modern AAA game.
Isn’t the “Rainbow Six Universe” just, like, the regular world? I haven’t played an R6 game in more than a decade, but I remember the draw being realism.
PS to Xbox?.. Yeah…okay uh no. They don’t have to negotiate their brands as that is what gives them power. Something Microsoft is significantly lacking
They jumped the gun releasing without a campaign at launch. People were merciless in reviews about that. It’s better since that was added but still feels a bit hollow. I hope this isn’t a mistake because it has potential and seems like it’s evolving quickly.
