GTA 5 was boring when it came to exploring, much of it was pretty empty unless there was a mission. Elder Scrolls Arena was just random generated repeated stuff - miles of it. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was a lot of copy and paste.
GLaDOS’ constant mockery of your person, your ability to navigate tests, and general spite pretty much make both games. It all even manages to provide a lot of world-building without lore-dumping. 10/10, would get roasted again.
Tough thing about being a kid. Lot of free time, no responsibilities, and no idea what you wanna do with it. In a sense anyway. When I was a kid yeah we had fewer choices. But I also had limited experience. Didn’t know what I might like or not.
I see my niece grow up with a similar attitude about movies. “I would not like that.” You can’t know that. So many games, you just don’t know which ones to play. You don’t have the criteria in mind to make an educated guess about what might be a good match for you.
If it’s one of the oldest ones, I assume it’s for Java, which means it’s entirely run by the server operator and not one of those shitty 3rd party hosted servers you can rent out from within Bedrock.
I don’t remember ever seeing anything about how you need to run a server of your own in compliance with Mojang’s rules in the EULA or TOS.
I’m SO relieved!!! I enjoyed the first one more than most people. At the time I was in a rut where most video games were not enjoyable or fun. Then the first game came out and I felt alive again from the SECOND the music started on the title screen!
I’ve been looking forward to the second one for years and I’m so relieved that Microsoft didn’t fuck it up.
I’m taking it as it was mostly completed by the time Microsoft bought them, the story and everything had already been decided, so hopefully an easy win for Obsidian. Future titles started under Microsoft though… idk
Play Necesse or Abiotic Factor. Both just left early access recently and are great real games for good prices and aren’t stuffed with the modern AAA bloat
Edit: I posted this just before reading the last paragraph… Well, glad it’s taking off lol
It’s a bit more basebuildy than Terraria which I actually prefer as someone who enjoys rimworld. It’s pretty big on boss fights tho, but i usually leave that to my friends and focus on the base. It has a lot of polish and quality-of-life features. I’ve sunk about 140 hours into it so far but I’ll probably rack up a lot more than that. It isn’t very replayable and has a weak endgame loop, but it’s a very solid game.
The fuck is Lake Isabella and why is this written like an ad? This might make sense if you were writing about the setting of a famous or popular game, but even then it would be a stretch.
