Not games but In Deep Geek does great lore videos on lord of the rings/game of thrones/some other stuff. Also a little dry but great to listen to for background listening.
Yeah, I’m still going to play the remake when it comes out even if it’s the exact same game, cause having and HD and wide screen version I can play on the go would be fantastic. but also just playing in bed would be a lot more comfortable than sitting at a desk to play
I’ve just finished Ghost trick this week (I can recommend it if you are hesitant). 😎
Right now I’m few hours into Sea of stars, beautiful looking game, reminds me to golden sun a lot, hope it continues at this level.
When I get a break my partner steals the Switch and plays Shotgun king… I think he got very addicted to that one, if there would be a mobile phone version I’d definitely buy it for him 😄
Shotgun king has a “throne mode” where you need to pass 12 levels on a row to get some sort of ending. But to be honest it does not have a lot of story, so you can count it as endless run as well. It’s more the way of playing, where each level you pass you get to choose two random modifiers (good and bad) for the following level.
You also get additional weapons and modifiers each time you get to the ending and we haven’t yet seen all, so it has reply value and maybe an extra ending 🤷♀️
Funny that they thought of that, but then slipped up that you could become archmage before you have to ask the archmage for help. But there’s no dialogue for the quest if you are the archmage. So if you progress in the wrong order, you get stuck in the main quest.
They may have fixed it since, but that was a huge error.
You can find games like this one in rutracker which require no installation, decompression or dwarfs thing, only the files. Just like what you’d have after installing a repack
It is not fully private. You can browse without an account but cant use the site’s search. If you don’t want to create an account you can use a search engine like duckduckgo like adding site:rutracker.org to your query
I like sites that are aggregators of content (no one site, necessarily). I think the best move is to find release groups you like the quality of and trust. From there, find out where they upload. I was a big fan of RARBG remuxes (x265) and RARBG-affiliated TV release groups, so it took a bit to find acceptable and consistent replacements. It’s worth the effort.
For movies, PSA slotted right in the quality/size hole RARBG left for x265 movies. There’s groups with better quality at higher filesizes (like QxR), but the ~2GB 1080p stuff PSA puts out suits my needs well.
TV is a little eh. XEN0N is where I ended up, but definitely isn’t on par with ION10/ION265. I haven’t found a great catch-all replacement. But I haven’t had to grab a ton of TV lately, to be honest.
You’d probably like Pahe.in releases, I also landed on PSA (I use it for both movies & tv) and Pahe is pretty close to it in quality/size. Pahe doesn’t have torrents tho, but I think their GDrive and Mega links are pretty easy to get to; compared to some of PSA’s direct downloads you only need one real countdown and less than 10 clicks to get the file
the only case i could see it stopping someone is if they just pirate for funsies and have the disposable income to buy anything they want lmao. if you need something and cant afford it then inconveniences and annoyances don’t matter
I don’t see how these two things correlate. Private trackers don’t have ads on them and many public ones that require an account don’t either. Are you still downloading things through a browser with jdownloader?
The Xbox Elite V2 was one of the worst purchases I ever made. Left stick drift and a sticky LB about 60 days after purchase, when the warranty was for only 30 days. They just recently started selling replacement parts but I feel it’s too little, too late.
Same issue, at one point I had two of and cycling warranty replacements on both (they bumped it up to 1 year).
I recently got the white version which doesn’t come with the additional accessories (I had a ton already from all the warranty replacements). It’s been holding up a lot better than my older black Elite 2s.
Where as I brought one Amazon open box returns for half price and it didn’t develop any drift until three years down the line which is understandable giving how many hours a day I play. Seems either I got lucky or you unlucky.
There were enough reviews warning me that this was a possibility, but I usually get lucky on these kind of things. Plus I liked the feel/design. I still use the elite as my main gamepad, but I find myself using kb+m more often on games where I prefer a gamepad. I really want to get something else, but can’t justify buying another premium controller right now. This thread has shown me some options that I wasn’t aware of. And for sure I will be double checking the warranty next time!
I used to get drift on EVERY Xbox controller in less than a year. The kids got older and started dropping them on the floor less, and lo and behold, my controllers last years without any drift. 🤷🏻♂️
If I had used Windows 10 edition at any point, would I have already migrated? I haven’t played Minecraft in ages, but I certainly don’t want to lose access to it.
Edit: Wtf… I get an “Access forbidden” error just going to minecraft.net/login
If you purchased or redeemed a code for Minecraft for Windows 10 Edition in the past, your Microsoft account is eligible to get Minecraft: Java Edition for free. If you log into the Minecraft Launcher with your Microsoft, it should prompt you to set up a Java Edition username (separate from your Xbox Gamertag).
More information can be found on their help page here.
Other way around, actually. I bought Minecraft way before Microsoft owned Mojang, but at some point they gave access to the Windows 10 edition for owners of the Java edition. I’ve installed that before, around that time, and I’m just wondering if that was enough to have migrated my account. It’s worrying tho that I tried to login in at minecraft.net and got a access error trying to reach the login page.
Redeeming that Windows 10 Edition code is separate from migrating to a Microsoft account. The code was just a free perk.
If you have not migrated your Mojang account yet, you have two options:
Migrate your profile to the same Microsoft account as the one on which you redeemed that Windows 10 Edition code. The benefit of this is that all your PC Minecraft is on one login.
Migrate your profile to a different Microsoft account, allowing you to double dip. You’ll end up with two Microsoft accounts, but also two Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft for Windows 10 licenses. It’s free real estate.
All 3 games require you do/don’t kill certain people at different levels in order to get the ‘true ending’. When I first played I just killed anything that moved, but then found out the consequences of doing so. Honestly it improved my game experience so much more when I had to carefully consider each action.
