I think what made it an obvious parody was the over the top PSA/commercials they broadcasted, and the fact that citizens are treated as a privileged class. I think at one point someone mentions that they have to become a citizen in order to be legally allowed to have children and that’s why they joined the army. It’s so far abstracted from our own reality, that I even picked up on the fact that it was a parody watching it for the first time at 12 years old.

shasta,

Sorry, I meant satire.

shasta,

Being vague about the requirement leaves more options for game companies to find various solutions to comply. It’s quite accommodating.

shasta,

So you’re gonna buy it from the PlayStation store and play it on PS5?

shasta,

I really like the ps5 controller. It’s comfortable, and the haptic feedback on the shoulder buttons is a really cool feature imo. The resistance is variable on the shoulder buttons so depending on what you’re doing in game, it can be harder or easier to depress the button. I thought that was cool.

shasta,

Sounds detective to me. But I’ve only played FF7 Rebirth on it so far

shasta,

Mine died after 10 years because I played the thing to death. At that point I went and got the PS2 slim and love that thing even more

shasta,

Don’t forget Twisted Metal. I believe it released before Crash.

shasta,

Think of all the old games that are no longer playable because the master servers are no longer online.

shasta,

It’s clear from context that he was discussing publicly-traded companies because, like you said, there basically are no public companies in the US. Your post is unnecessary and pedantic.

shasta,

Another tale from the epic of Blizzard is a Shitty Company.

shasta,

Peach is a princess. Mario is Italian.

shasta,

Nier Automata

shasta,

There are some times the camera angle is changed and locked to make it 2d side scroller for certain parts, and some parts reminiscent of some arcade games like 1945 Air Force: Airplane. And “hacking” opens a mini game mode that feels like a mobile game. On top of that, the lore and story is great and gameplay is fun. There are also collectibles if that’s your thing. And it still has the classic leveling and gear progression common to JRPGs.

Current PC is too bad for Cities Skylines 2. Can anyone judge the PCPartPicker list I've put together?

This is based off the “Great tier” AMD build, but I’m waffling a bit on the price. I don’t really know a whole lot about PC specs, but I read this is supposed to be a good long-lasting build based on the DDR5 and something newer in the CPU or Video card. That being said, I’ve only really ever build mid-tier and while I...

shasta,

I pretty much exclusively buy psu from seasonic or EVGA rated platinum or higher. 1000W and fully modular. These things last me at least 10 years and are as future proof as you can get. If you calculate price per year of use over its lifetime, it’s even the more affordable option.

shasta,

So they’ll just call it Microsoft. Got it.

shasta,

“enjoyed” past tense? I feel like that’s part of the problem. No replayability.

shasta,

I never played the game but these sound like criticisms I would’ve made. Sounds like it would have been much more fun if they made night exploration more tom clancy style spy/sneaking missions using magic and environmental objects to cause distractions and sneak about. And if they got quidditch right, it would’ve added much-need replayability (and possibly multiplayer) similar to blitzball in ff10.

I also heard the combat was very simple and repetitive. I could understand if they were trying to focus efforts on other hand systems but it sounds like they just skimped on development efforts across the board.

Steam's Oldest User Accounts Turn 20, Valve Celebrates With Special Digital Badges - IGN (www.ign.com) angielski

Some of Steam’s oldest user accounts are turning 20-years old this week, and Valve is celebrating the anniversary by handing out special digital badges featuring the original Steam colour scheme to the gaming veterans....

shasta,

I thought it was great. I got a physical copy of the Orange Box for $20 and didn’t care that I had to install Steam to play it. After I had it set up and realized I didn’t have to physically go to the store to get games anymore, I like it even more.

shasta,

Maybe he thought you typoed RTX since nvidia uses that now instead of GTX. But there is no RYX480 so idk
