I don’t even use my Switch anymore, but I’ll still be picking this up and leaving the game running to inflate my play time.

I give about a year until Unreal does the same, except that they’ll at least have the good graces to waive the fee if games are sold on Epic Contractually Timed Exclusive Games Store.

That’s exactly what they’re going to do because it costs nothing. The problem is they won’t ever accept the community fixes into official updates since they’re binary patches or file replacements.

If the Switch 2’s OS is anything like the Switch’s current revision of Horizon, it’s an extremely hardened OS. They’ve done a surprisingly good job plugging software holes.
