hagelslager,

Vampire Survivors on the Switch, Helldivers 2 and Final Fantasy XIV on the PC.

hagelslager, (edited )

I think of my characters in games as “stand alone”, and I don’t really care about the gender I’m playing as.

Specific reasons to play women:

  • Cyberpunk 2077: Judy Alvarez is more appealing to me than Panam Palmer. (Although I have to dig up my first playthrough (male V) since the Kerry Eurodyne questline seems to be good).
  • When I started playing Fortnite with some others, someone jokingly gave me the Heidi-skin. Except for certain quests, I keep using that skin.
hagelslager,

Vice City literally ends with a Scarface homage.

hagelslager,

If I had a dollar for every time people recommended Blue mics while any dynamic mic would’ve been a better option, I’d be a rich man.

hagelslager,

Have you looked at boom arms? They reach up and over and won’t get in the way of your hands/arms.

hagelslager,

Iron out the bugs? That would be an improvement compared to Skyrim.

hagelslager,

Considering it’s a Bethesda developed game, I think it’s safe to say there has been no optimisation at all.

hagelslager,

And it certainly doesn’t help that a great “classic Bioware” game was released by Larian (… again).

hagelslager,

Indeed, the job of most AAA game studios is to get as much money as possible from the gamers to their shareholders.

What games have you played in the last 365 days that stand out to you as the most memorable experiences?

I think the most common answer is going to be Tears of the Kingdom, and that is one for me that stands out for sure, but I will try to add some more unique inputs as well. Many are games that came out longer than a year ago, but i didnt get around to playing until more recently....

hagelslager,

Have you looked at BattleBit Remastered? It looks janky, but scratches an itch the Battlefield series can’t reach for a while now.

hagelslager,

FlyByNo’s soundtracks for the endless series are great. The first Endless Space OST hold a particular spot in my heart.
