KC is a open world game and the schnapps drops are random and not very often or you had to ride to an alchemy bench and brew them with an ingredient that was hard to find. I didn’t want to deal with that so I modded the game to save when I wanted.
I honestly never found the elusive one in the wild. Only got a reliable location with the dlc and the garden. The system may have it’s charm but it was just too many steps for my liking.
