Most of the work is done and they are aiming to release next year, at this point I’d be surprised if it doesn’t get done.

In any case, this is a project that a lot of people have been working on, for free, for over a decade, I wouldn’t tell them it will look like crap even if I really thought so.

I think the issue is that they still have their developers write their own quests rather than hiring a team of dedicated writers like other studios do nowadays.

The games will never be narratively coherent when everyone is pulling in a different direction.

I’d argue that the best part of the game is the pirate questline. You get to pick between being a double agent, gathering evidence and sabotaging their plans, or an evil pirate that fights the law and only cares about themselves.

I’ve been using Blade and Blunt and it makes the combat system much slower and deadlier, spamming attacks like in vanilla Skyrim will only get you killed.

It’s meant to be paired alongside Adamant, the perk overhaul made by the same person.

Guild Wars 2 didn’t do this in the expansions and the game is so much better because of it.

When you are facing a world-ending dragon and it’s army of minions, it’s important that they actually feel freaking dangerous to begin with.

Finally some buffs to the useless new gear, I doubt it will create a lot of new builds though, the core issues are still there.

I barely played a bit of Injustice 1 but I really enjoyed Lex Luthor, something about his suit made him really like him.

Auto block, auto parry, auth whiff punish, auto anti-air, auto drive impact on big moves, etc.

No, a lot of those things are simply not possible for a human being, perfectly parrying a 4 frame move on reaction is impossible.

Same with throws and other 50/50, they can defend perfectly in situations where a player is meant to guess.

Except they don’t guess, they get the perfect parry by reading inputs so they never get thrown either.

That’s just false, you’ll end up with Payday 2 where everything is so broken that enemies need to nearly insta kill you from any range to have an actual challenge.

It was VERY undercooked. As in unfinished UI, console prompts being pasted on top of m/k, no server search, broken matchmaking, lack of content, lack of build variety, no offline mode, terrible progression systems.

Pretty much everything that could go wrong did except for the gameplay itself being better.
