FrankTheHealer,

Another jewel in Godot’s crown. Love to see it

FrankTheHealer,

There was hope initially, but as a huge overwatch fan, when Jeff Kaplan, the former game director of Overwatch, left Blizzard, I could see the bullshit that lay ahead. It took too long for others to realize.

FrankTheHealer,

Apparently, he and some ex Blizzard people created a new studio. But itl be a few years before they have any games to unveil. And honestly, that’s fine. I mean he could announce he’s retiring and it’d be fine. He earned it as far as I’m concerned.

EA just added classics like Dungeon Keeper, SimCity 3000, and Populous on Steam (www.theverge.com) angielski

There hasn’t been a lot of good news out of EA lately, but here’s some: the company just launched a bunch of classic games on Steam. The new (old) releases include nine games in total, spanning franchises like Dungeon Keeper, Populous, and SimCity....

FrankTheHealer,

That is so fucking annoying. How they gonna say you can’t play a game that you bought.

Ffs.

I was having similar issues with Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam. Like RDR2 is still a great game but that DRM bullshit can go fuck itself.

FrankTheHealer,

It’s because of China and the Asian market in general. It’s beyond huge for mobile games. Even the crappiest piece of shit you could imagine will probably make money in that market if advertised in the right way.

FrankTheHealer,

This trailer gave me chills. Absolutely phenomenal work.

I have a strong suspicion that this will be more enjoyable than Starfield. I can’t wait.

FrankTheHealer,

Patient Gamers FTW

FrankTheHealer,

FNV is amazing. I’ve gotten all the achievements on Xbox and I recently finished another playthrough on my Steam Deck. Absolutely amazing game

FrankTheHealer, (edited )

This looks really cool. Would love to play this on my Steam Deck

FrankTheHealer,

Awesome. I played the first one on PS4 and was blown away.

Would love to replay that and FW on Steam Deck

FrankTheHealer,

Honestly, those Unofficial Patch mods for Skyrim and Fallout are amazing.

FrankTheHealer,

The vanilla game is still Bella buggy, awesome, but hella buggy.

FrankTheHealer,

Im not interested unless it has; Hall effect thumb sticks to reduce stick drift

An OLED screen

Backwards compatibility with Switch 1 games.

A headphone jack that allows game chat and game audio

And is designed to be easily repaired, like not having tons of adhesive, uncommon screw types etc

FrankTheHealer,

Yes and the switch 2 needs to continue with this trend

FrankTheHealer,

To be fair, Cyberpunk’s performance was awful for everyone at launch, Windows, Linux and consoles.

At one point I remember seeing someone on Reddit show that the game was less likely to crash on Linux than on Windows. In that regard, one could argue the performance was better for Linux users when Cyberpunk launched. Mind you, the games was still a buggy mess at launch too.

FrankTheHealer,

What do you use to stream game pass games on Steam Deck?

I have a ton of older games in my Xbox library that I’d love to play on Steam Deck

FrankTheHealer,

Looks pretty cool. I’d be interested in picking this up so long as 1) it isn’t riddled with micro transactions and 2) it plays well on Steam Deck

FrankTheHealer,

Good for them. More power to them!

FrankTheHealer,

I mean, I could see this coming.

Saints Row reboot at least had an interesting setting and played okay. But it was let down by awful writing and a lack of scope.

It didnt have all the features of even Saints Row 2. The plot seemed to pander to millennials in a very “how do you do fellow kids” kinda way. Some of the gameplay was repetitive and boring and it had a few bugs.

With a different writing team and another year in development, it could have been a huge success, but they didnt so it wasn’t. RIP Volition.

In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam. (steamdb.info) angielski

After 5 years in development and heavily pushing Unreal Engine 5 technologies, Immortals of Aveum was met with a whopping 751 player peak. For reference, Forspoken was considered a flop but still had over 12,000 players peak total. This may be the biggest flop of the year.

FrankTheHealer,

It has a super generic name.

If you asked ChatGPT to come up with some names for a generic cheap micro transaction ridden game on the the App Store, in the vein of Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Royal Revolt, etc Immortals of Aveum could be on the list

FrankTheHealer,

Do the NPCs in this game give anyone else a sort of uncanny valley feel

FrankTheHealer,

I would prefer Total War: Rome 3 since we are about 20 years since the original.

Also maybe using LOTR universe instead. Or even 40k?
