There are many ai companies pirating millions of songs for their profit and they are operating without problems, what they’re going to do to an individual that “stole” a couple songs?
The movie at a cinema isn’t a regular mp4 file, it’s a massive 100-300gb proprietary file that needs a valid license key to even be played back during a specific time period. Good luck decrypting the file or getting the company that issues the keys to the cinemas to give you a key because you’re not getting it to play early. Iirc somehow the Korean rip of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie was leaked early and something similar happened with the My Little Pony movie, but those fan bases are incredibly autistic and will find a way.
Yeah, there’s no need to pirate at the cinema when you can pirate at the studio. Anyway how in my Lord Satan they made that file that huge, it’s 12K resolution or what?
My understanding is the media and projectors are heavily tied together with strict DRM. This is why you see cams with direct audio hookups, but not direct video rips
afaik audio hookups are recording of radio broadcasts for impaired not unauthorised rips of media used in cinema or recordings made using some tricks with wires and clamps.
From what I recall, this sort of stuff is usually kept as a closely guarded secret by those who do it. Perhaps someone else more knowledgeable about the practice could give some more insight.
Most streaming rippers have their toolsets and methods and often tend not to share them in fear of the streaming companies finding out and patching exploits up.

First things first, pull up Trash Guides and set up the *Arr stack -- Sonarr for shows, Radarr for movies, Bazarr for subs, and Prowlarr for indexers/trackers. Then setup transmission+OpenVPN or something similar to torrent behind a VPN. Finally, hook up Jellyfin so you can serve the media.

That dubbed audio tracks of movies could be downloaded separatey and easily merged in the audio, in a way similar to subtitles. This way, the audio track in non English languages would be downloaded very quickly, even with just one seeder, and the whole movie in original language has way more seeders than dubbed ones.
