Honestly I thought that it was more bare-bones than, say Fallout, because this was Obsidian’s attempt at a large-scale RPG without the backing of a big time publisher like Bethesda, LucasArts, Ubisoft etc. I had no idea that it was purposefully made more shallow to cater to more casual players.
This article is a hot mess of spelling mistakes and poor grammar. I see where the writing was going but with all those errors it’s hard to take it seriously.
I’ve been replaying the Baldur’s Gate games lately and I still find them amazing.
I couldn’t afford them when they first came out since I was in high school so I’ve been buying all of them lately (including Planescape Torment). Next is Tyranny probably.
I’m looking for Pool of radiance Ruins of Myth Drannor but can’t seem to find it.
This is a bad omen for starfield imo. All the games i got with my AMD components last year (e.g. forspoken) were garbage. Maybe Bethesda is anticipating that they can’t keep up with the hype around the game which will be badly optimized or buggy at launch (like any other bethesda game) and try to save some profit.
But then again, most gamers have the worst impulse control and will even buy a steaming piece of shit if there’s a possibility to preorder it.
This update improved the game in so many ways. It feels awesome to drive through stormy nights and unlike many other driving simulations the risk of crashing feels great too. Everyone how wants to find out how much work goes into operating locomotives should try this.
I finished it a while back and it’s fun, I would say it has more soul than far cry 2 which felt incomplete. The final stage of the game gets kinda hard tho.
