Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is an incredible game dealing with psychosis and mental trauma. It’s about a Celtic girl named Senua who is journeying to the Viking Hel to bargain with Hela for the life of her lost love. She literally carries his head in a cloth tied to her belt....
Although it’s very dangerous to play the game if you had mental illness history. Playing the game triggered a psychosis episode for my friend who was admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
The thing is, Valve works mostly as a collective with mostly flat structure. So there can’t be a higher up ordering people around to make HL3. The whole team needs to believe in it.
Just hire Kirkbride back goddamnit. I installed Immortals of Aveum and saw that Kirkbride is the main writer and got pumped on the game but that damn thing keeps crashing on me. So I’m back to just playing Diablo or Minecraft for the time being.
Ahh, reminds me of grinding for reputation so I can get the Cutter and Corvette. I still keep Elite installed and still waiting to get the will to start that game. Odyssey really left a bad taste on my mouth.
CDPR effectively rewrote the campaign after Keanu Reeves told them that he’s game if CDPR wants to record more lines. I still remember the E3 demo where CDPR said that the campaign has been completed and they’re just in the polishing stages.
If you’re a HP fan the game is a no-brainer. But if not I suggest finding another AAA RPG game. I borrowed my friend’s copy via family sharing and I only got maybe around 4-5 hours in before I got bored and uninstalled the game.

If you don’t have much experience playing CRPGs I think it can be quite difficult. But once you get the hang of building classes, even honor mode will definitely be doable.
Just bouncing between Overwatch 2 and MW3 as currently I’m still burned out playing SP games since playing AC6 to NG++, AW2 on hard, miraculously managed to finish a durge honor mode run (this is what burned me out, too stressful playing CRPGs with only 1 save, with a durge run at that).
I’ve also found that Warzone 3 is surprisingly good so most of my old Warzone 1 squad are reinstalling the game and we started playing together again.

With the addition of Honour mode in BG3 I decided to finally start a Dark Urge playthru for the first time. It’s been a wild ride, Shart and Gale died and I almost lost everyone in my party lol.
Larian pls make a new series based on the Pathfinder ruleset. I think the success of BG3 has helped the mainstream to get used to DnD ruleset. Although Pathfinder is more complex, I think they have the chops to make it more accessible to the masses.
I played em both and even did a secret ending run. Love both but it’s based on PF1e and it’s still built with RTWP by default. I love the various origin characters that Larian made for BG3 and D:OS2 that made your party members feel like real characters that have their own motivations unlike other RPGs that have your companion to be more like henchmen.
I hated the magical + physical armor parts in the D:OS mechanic. I think using a DnD ruleset instead of their own helps BG3 mainstream success. This is anecdotal evidence but I have a friend that is unable to play D:OS2 but loves BG3 very much.
From what I’ve read about the series it’s actually set 4 years after Fallout 4 events. So it’s more “side stories in the setting” rather than straight up adaptation.

Just upgraded my home internet from a spotty 50 Mbps with lots of packet loss to a 250 Mbps with cheaper monthly costs. So most of the time I’m just downloading games for the heck of it. I might not need to use my HDD to backup games anymore as the download speed is the same as my external HDD speeds ♪~(´ε` )
I just experienced this while playing Diablo 4. In the pre-season I routinely got ~120 FPS on my graphical settings and tried out the game again after season 2 release and my FPS shot up to 350.
They’re releasing this game as an early access. The Day One Game Pass release evidenced this, they wanted as many people as possible running this game to beta test this game.
Why not just release the game as an early access you say? If you release the game as early access there would be much less people buying and installing the game compared to a “full release” and we need the line going up for the Q4 so that our corporate overlords can buy another ranch at New Zealand my friend.

Currently jumping around between Cyberpunk 2077, Armored Core 6, and Overwatch 2. Since beating Baldur’s Gate 3 most of the games that I played pale in comparison.
Point of Forza, driving cars around in circles will get repetitive after some point tho. I played Horizon 4 much more than 5 because 4 has a ranked system. I’m definitely going to play more Horizon 5 if they have a ranked system.
This also shocked me when playing Starfield, I basically just completed one of the faction quests and basically just spent time building and stealing ships and my playtime is more than 100 hours. WTF.
According to Hans-Kristian Arntzen, a prominent open-source developer working on Vkd3d, a DirectX 12 to Vulkan translation layer, Starfield is not interacting properly with graphics card drivers.
I found that flow of the game works a little bit better if you just don’t fast travel at all. I played a lot of Elite and it gave me a little bit of Elite vibes when I just walk to my ship, go thru inside it and sit down. Then I take off “manually” using the button and jump to the target system by manually targeting it and press the jump button.
What Bethesda can do better is to just mask the loading with a flight animation, for example when you’re taking off from a planet the loading should be replaced by an animation where you’re going out of the atmosphere. And when you’re jumping between star systems, the loading should be replaced by something similar to Elite when we’re jumping through the witch space.
All in all, my experience with Starfield has been fine. I loved the weird stuff happening when you’re just fucking around. Although the main quest has taken a step back with their sense of urgency, compare it to previous Bethesda games, where there’s a big stake going on that pushes you to at least complete the main quest once. In Starfield there’s no such sense of urgency.
It seems like Bethesda is leaning heavy on their sandbox side, just letting people go around and do stuff.
With optimized settings from the HUB YouTube channel, my FPS never went below 60.
For those who have pre-ordered it is already here, the rest have to wait a little longer. Starfield is finally here! Have you bought it, why or why not? If you’ve already played it, what do you think of it? We are very curious!...
You might want to check the FSR scaling if the screen looks blurry below ultra. Basically the graphics preset also changes the resolution scaling IIRC with Ultra with the highest percentage.
I’ve been playing Bethesda games vanilla for my first playthrough since Oblivion. By the time I finished my first run, usually a healthy modding scene had already developed.
For certain kinds of games I like to buy them for full price to show my support to the developers. I bought Original Sin 2 for full price and I’m buying Baldur’s Gate 3 at full price.
Duh, the reason there’s Game Pass on PC is for people to stay on Windows. Microsoft saw the writing on the wall when Valve released SteamOS and scrambled for a way to keep people on Windows.

Noooooooooooppp, I already had a MechWarrior/Gundam like run planned where I have a big ship with mechs that I pilot and then go be a mercenary in space.
