Was Will Smith cool before that? The last movie I saw with him is that one movie where he co-stared with himself and the one before that was after earth.
I guess the one with the tennis was ok? His involvement was hardly a stamp of quality before the slap.
He had put out a long line of duds, but was still considered an accomplished actor. King Richard is probably an outlier as a critically acclaimed role for him, but even after a decade of mostly crap he’s still been getting the work.
Given the response from Chris Rock to the slap, that might all be over though. He’s still busy as a producer on Bel Air, which has been…okay? That might be his next move in his career.
For people who haven’t played any version yet: the monologues are the best part of the game. I still say Stanley is the best walking sim due to the dialogue, but also has some fun stuff going on behind the scene if you want to have fun seeing how they made it work.
“While the idea for the game is good… For someone who prefers non-linear games, this preachiness gets annoying fast.”
Preachy?! Stanley, I’m not preachy, am I? You can tell me if I’m preachy. Honestly, you can. Oh goodness, this is actually quite shocking for me. I- I always- well, to be honest, I had always thought of the game’s dialogue as being rather terse to begin with. You can’t know how much fluff I cut from the game to get it to feel as light and airy as it… well, I always thought it did. But maybe it wasn’t.

Oh man, I love the Stanley Parable! I shudder to think what the collectors stuff will cost, but damn if the “Jim” button isn’t tempting. Also delighted at the cassette tape option.
Agreed, I recently bought slay the spire on mobile, and while it is a little expensive for a mobile game it’s so well worth it! Especially if you haven’t played it before. Such a quality game and highly addictive 😅
I did play through that as well. I got it when it was free on psn a year or 2 ago. Played through most of it. I agree it was a fantastic game and had a lot of fun.
