I don’t agree with Epic trying to artificially segment the PC market with needless timed exclusives. If they want to compete with Steam, make a better product, but don’t remove choice from the consumer. With that being said, I vote with my wallet and time on this one, I won’t install Epic, or give them money.
I doubt it was, sorry I didn’t intend to imply this title was an exclusive. It’s just the practice of Epic securing timed exclusives is scummy, so I don’t use their store due to that reason, free games or no.
Also navigating the UI with a controller is really rough (I tried playing this on my switch… did not go well). But the concept was cute so I hope they fix up some of the issues!
It’s highly likely, but the getting there is definitely worth it. The game is half the story though. It feels like it stops in the middle, albeit after a significant enough plot point to give you some satisfaction. The game is incredible though and I’d definitely take that version over nothing at all.
Probably can use it to feed the ttw mod for new Vegas that combines the two into a single game. I used gog versions to install the mod on steam deck and uninstalled fo3 after.
I recommend a significantly stronger CPU computer for the TTW installer though as it converts the audio to be the same format as nv and it took like 5 days on the deck.
Yup, but when the game launcued in 2004 it was true. These days it definitely isn’t the most well known but back in 2004, cave story was considered a huge success for the indie game scene
