At this point they need to convince me to reinstall the 100-odd gigs of game before they convince me to play it.

I played it for half an hour about three weeks ago, spent fifteen minutes of it walking across a desolate map space to an objective, died to mobs that I should have out-leveled 20 levels ago, quit, uninstalled, and haven’t bothered since.

I wanted to share my opinion here because I don’t know where to do it: Syndicate is very enjoyable! I’ve read all kinds of bad reviews about it, but now that I’m playing it I like it a lot. Just my humble opinion from a guy more into the original AC mechanics, not the open world approach.

Excited for you! I know a lot of folks are pretty “meh” on VR, but I’ve been using it for at least the past 6-7 years and it just keeps getting better. The magic never wears off. Have some fun with it when you get it, and remember to take breaks!
