Demons souls doesnt explain any fucking thing. Theres a lot that would take incredible effort to figure out on your own, I think they intended for it to take a community to get things figured out together.
Its been a really long time but I remember theres a ring in the first area that lets you have a lot more health while unkindled or whatever they call it in that one. Its sort of secret, I think just before the first boss in that area you drop down a hole into a room. For me at the time this was a major boon.
I also found it way easier to start as a spellcaster. Many traps and fights are easier from a distance or by using magic to bait enemies out so you can fight one on one and avoid group ambushes. There really is so much trial and error in this one, you are going to get blasted and have to memorize it all.
There are a lot of NPC phantoms that only appear with certain world tendencies, usually full white or full black. Its really a major bitch to get everything because of the effort to manipulate it. I made it through most of the game without even realizing what was happening. I do remember in the last area farming flying manta ray things and using black world tendency to get more souls so theres that if you get desperate. Good luck!

I feel like I’m at least 30% through the game, if I had to guess. It’s a lot of fun, but much more brutally punishing compared to Bloodborne or especially Elden Ring. I still haven’t got a clue what the hell is really going on, but I look forward to manta rays!
One of my personal favorites has been Plants vs Zombies 2: Reflourished. It’s a modded version of the original game that removes all ads and microtransactions and is a challenging enough game.
Also, Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Simple enough to figure out, simple controls, and no 2 runs are the same until you unlock seeded runs by beating a run ( which I can somehow never do ).
Magic Survival, the inspiration behind Vampire Survivors. Never paid a dime, got over 100h at this point, and is the only mobile game on my phone, it’s great.
I really like Space Flight Simulator. It’s a simplified 2d kerbal basically. Also a sucker for Antiyoy, Balatro, Auralux, and of course an emulator (delta for iOS) so I can play pokemon games.
I am a FFXIV raider. Gear has been earned. But there is now a lack of culture. The game has lost it’s way. It might not be the game though. It might be all MMOs.
My mortality in video games waivers all the way from stopping at traffic lights to modding in God Mode to going HAM on every NPC within firing distance. It all depends on how my day has been.

Nowe inicjatywy dziejące się na Syrenie są tworzone przez osoby, które niekiedy nawet nie słyszały o wydarzeniach z 5.12 (serio, samemu trudno było uwierzyć, że tak się da). Szczególnie się cieszę, że są to, jeśli się nie mylę, młodzi mężczyźni - czyli docelowi odbiorcy agitacji skrajnej prawicy. [Jestem po maratonie czytania bell hooks, więc może stąd ten optymizm]
Oczywiście - najlepszym scenariuszem byłyby mediacje, jakiekolwiek działania naprawcze, a nie zbiorowa amnezja, bo temat jest cholernie ważny, bez niego nie pójdziemy dalej. No i sprawił, że osoby mogą dalej nie czuć się bezpiecznie w ww. przestrzeni. Po prostu uznaję to, być może błędnie, za jakiś powiew zmian (oby pozytywnych).
Także ja jestem nieśmiałym optymistą względem WGA. Jednocześnie - uważam, że wszystkie osoby, niezależnie od proweniencji, powinny zapoznać się z zinem kolektywu Pożoga - BROwolucja MANarchistyczna (archive.org/details/pozoga_2020_browolucja)
Jak ktoś w tamtym momencie nie siedział bardzo w temacie, nie był częścią tzw. “środowiska” to bardzo łatwo było o tym nie słyszeć. A co dopiero w przypadku ludzi młodych, którzy mając te 18-19 lat (albo nawet mniej) zwyczajnie wtedy w ogóle się nie interesowali polityką a co dopiero takimi niszowymi historiami jak wojny skłotów.
Fajna ta WGA, od razu widać kto to robi. Rozbrat jak zwykle próbuje rządzić środowiskiem w całym kraju. Zrobili sobie marionetkową wersję WFA która spotyka się na przejętej pogromem Syrenie.
