Vampire Survivors has got me back in its grip. The Ode to Castlevania DLC dropped on Halloween. I really don’t understand where the time goes when I play that game.
Also picked up Webfishing, an absolutely adorable time. I don’t know that I really consider it “playing”, the actual gameplay is pretty basic, but I’ve enjoyed the peaceful nature of it and have had fun just chatting.
This is seriously dating myself, and probably hyper-specific, but it feels more like chatrooms back in the late 90s to early 2000s. Most of the rooms I’ve been in have been relaxed. Having a talk about life while someone strums “Simple and Clean” on a guitar somewhere in the background. A bit of roleplay going on.
The small lobbies, the small map, the chill gameplay, all makes for a cozy, welcoming place. Like you really did just stumble across someone’s campsite, and they invited you to sit.
Isn’t it crazy that you have to murder and steal in a game like GTA V??? Wouldn’t the game be so much better if Franklin just got a regular 9-5 and you spent the entire game either sitting in traffic or sitting in a cubicle?
I said that I understand that some people want to act unethically in games as a form of escapism for that you can’t do in real life, and that’s fine. But there should be ethical options for people who do want to build an ethical civilisation, as that also makes it more realistic in many ways, not all real civilisations have to start off with a feudal system and slowly progress in exactly the way the tech and civic trees work in civ6.
@dj1936 Jeśli próbowałeś tylko na jednym komputerze, to może to jest wina starego napędu, słabego lasera itd. Spróbowałbym jeszcze na kilku innych. A jeśli to faktycznie tak ważne, no to firmy odzyskiwania danych... Sczytają sektor po sektorze i odzyskają ile się da, nawet ze zniszczonych płyt.
I’ve been playing Wreckfest for a few years. Great fun, perfect balance between arcade and realism. Multiplayer lobbies in that game are a blast, so chaotic 😃
Wreckfest multiplayer is great. Getting in to 1st position makes me sweat just trying to survive the carnage! It normally ends badly but it’s so much fun.
I agree, even surviving an entire race when not in some slouchy heavily armored beast is a fun challenge. And if you get bored of trying to survive, just drive a school bus in the wrong direction and ram people!😃 So much chaotic fun!
I played the original back in the day, although not as far as the remake. It’s incredibly faithful to it, almost beat-to-beat, but carefully polished and improved in all the right places, e.g. by improving pacing, creating a more interconnected game world and subtle balancing changes. The nostalgia is still there, but it feels modern nonetheless, not just because of its outstanding presentation.
I actually don’t like horror and jump scare games. The fact that this game managed to draw me in and keep me playing is quite the achievement. This is one of those games that is so good, it’s enjoyable even if you don’t like the genre.
Yeah this might be the direction I go, I have Titanfall 2 on Steam and played a little on the Deck and enjoyed the movement. Any suggestions as a N00B and any things to avoid?
Definitely toned down from Titanfall, but if you liked that game you’ll probably like Apex too!
I would say stress about the character selection too much, you’ll find characters that you enjoy more over time but abilities don’t overshadow good gunplay in the game.
A few small tips:
heal your shields before your health (most of the time). Shield items are slightly faster to use than their HP equivalents but provide the same amount of healing (e.g. shield cell = 25shields ~2 seconds to use, health pack = 25hp ~3 seconds to use)
when you kill an enemy and they drop their death box, you can loot their shield from the box to instantly recharge some or all of your shields. It can be really helpful even in the middle of a fight or if you know another squad is coming to third-party you
don’t get too caught up looting, you’ll get good stuff a lot more quickly by taking out other teams who have already looted for you
always be aware of where your squad mates are and make sure you’re close enough that you can get over and help them if need be
Best way to learn ofc is to just jump in and play some matches. Have fun!
For more mountainous or thick forest areas this is understandably. It required combustion engine trains, simply because of steep mountains, where it’s difficult to put down power lines or forests with a lot of trees who can easily destroy power lines. USA however is mostly flat. Looking at some like Austria or Swiss, if I see this correctly, they also are on a good way. Here we have a lot of hybrid but in general our train transport is a mess of mixed.
Ok. Pretend you are my father. I am your son. You are teaching me how to work the Nostalgia factory, and you have already taught me about the production maintenance and cost of the job. Now the next item on the checklist is what to do in case of emergency and specifically how to stop the production of cargo.
