I haven't played the remaster so I can't guarantee this will work, depending on what has changed, but ironically levelling up more might be the solution you need here. If the level scaling is still as completely fucked as it was in the original, the enemies should get stronger pretty quick. If you only level non-combat stuff they should get to a point that you find appropriate
Hey, thanks for the game, got accepted recently and have been really enjoying it.
Sadly I’ve just come 3rd in the parents race at my kids sports day at the cost of pulling my calf muscle so it look like I’ll not be getting many steps in over the next few days.
Keep up the great work, I’m looking forward to see how it progresses.
Thank you so much, and that sucks! But prioritizing recovery is the key, WalkScape isn’t a sprint but a marathon, so there are a lot of opportunities to get more steps in once you’ve recovered your calf muscle <3
I haven’t been accepted (yet, fingers crossed) into the beta but just wanted to say that this is such a cool project! Good on you for making and sharing it!
Thank you so much! When did you apply to the Closed Beta? We did accept before the current wave practically everyone who had applied before it launched.
If you applied long time ago, make sure to check out portal.walkscape.app/account page if you already have got the access but missed the email.
Well I think I’m just an idiot… I signed up for an account I think when I saw your very first post about it here. But I don’t think I ever actually submitted the beta application since I overlooked there was more than just signing up. 🤦♂️
Either way, I’m all set now since I just decided to donate instead.
Oooooh I like that question. I feel like it would have to be some kind of Call of Duty, right? Some absolutely mediocre slop that still has enough mechanical satisfaction and mind-numbing explosion-and-cliché-filled story to keep you somewhat entertained, yet still remaining completely forgettable.
I feel your pain lol. I had an old account that was Mojang that was going to give to my siblings last month so they could play modded with me (they have been begging for ages ever since I bought them a Steam Deck for Christmas) and I find out the account is just gone because I didn’t transfer it. I’m pissed about it because that’s 20$ gone.
The game itself, for me. I played it through a few times when it first came out, and then very recently I got it on Steam and played again for the first time since. Still as poignant.
Zelda Breath of the wild for me. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed Tears of the Kingdom but breath of the wild scratched a perfect itch for me. Especially master mode. Well over 1000 hours played.
It’s the vibe. TotK just… Feels more industrial, and less clean and hopeful. BotW was just so pretty and you HAD to walk to places or glide the first time. The machines in TotK made it so easy to skip the nature that it felt less rewarding to play. Like, if you could just snap your fingers and have the perfect house immediately with no work, no effort, the house wouldn’t feel as rewarding as one you built with your own skill.
