That’s indeed possible, but hard to prove unless you give an archived proof (wayback machine, etc.). AI made creating fake screenshot trivial, so I can’t blame anyone for thinking you may have faked it.
I checked the named YouTube channel a few minutes after the first comment about this topic popped up and it didn’t have any recent upload, only older ones about other games… So yeah… Just my 2 cents, but the whole post was really suspicious.
Edit: I still wish you good luck with the game and hope your goals will met
If my game is not your cup of tea, that’s okay but lying about me is where I have to stand up for myself. I have messaged the mod ask them what’s this all about. Waiting for an answer, I’m pretty sure I’ve never traded those kinds of insulsts with anyone here. If you know a way to source what you’re saying please post it, I don’t mind. If not, apologize and delete your comment.
Goddammit, I got you confused with MITM0. My apologies.
You’re the one who posted the fake fitgirl repack screenshot, instead of doing honest advertising (which, admittedly, you’re doing now, so good on you, I suppose).
But don’t go pulling my personal info from other communities about sensitive people. :/
Like I said, I never traded insults with anyone. Not my style and also the screenshot is not fake, that was real, the dude deleted all of his pirating videos after people reported them. Maybe you can check them out with wayback machine or something. Still waiting for that apology too because by now I hope you realized I’m not into lying
Making money is so much easier and reliable, now that you can do all the shit that required being in an open public lobby in a private one now. No more dickheads destroying your shipments. No more modders turning you into Optimus Prime and fucking up your game.
You can even do a million dollar heist all by yourself (though, it’s hard as fuck and you need a nuclear submarine).
This also has big implications for consumer rights and society as a whole in other areas of digital technology and right to repair, it is a foot in the door to start actually holding manufacturers responsible for the full lifecycle of their products (digital and real) that requires them to actually relinquish their control when their product reaches end-of-commercial-life, instead of turning everything into digital garbage out of what basically amounts to apathy and compulsive rights hoarding.
P.S. I hope this post is okay with the mods, just my way of letting everyone know. If you do play it, please give me some feedback. From what I’ve gathered so far either the humor works and you find it hilarious or it doesn’t for other players and they don’t rate it. Doesn’t seem to be a solid middle.
I’ve been considering getting this game because I love Remedy, but I don’t have any friends. Has anyone had much experience with the match-making portion of the game and can comment on it?
I haven’t messed with it myself but i have heard positive things about it. I have heard also though that’s there’s an issue recently with people killing other players for lost assets though (despite it being shared between players)
A great read as always. Thanks for the Xbox tip, that shit was annoying having the hub pop up instead of launching the games. If it wasn’t for quick resume I think the Xbox would be gathering dust… all the updates to it nowadays are ruining it more and more.
I find my utterly over spec’d desktop gets ignored these days more than my Xbox does. The company keeps making terrible, terrible decisions, but the value of Game Pass on a sofa can’t be beaten. The quick resume is utter magic, and between the ‘two’ who are often compared - Sony and MS - I find MS to be the least awful to consumers
I hate when the default controls have duck toggled on R3 but then don’t have anything on two of the 4 face buttons. Crouch should be on Circle/B if you’re not using that button for anything else.
The entire reason it’s like that is so you can crouch and aim at the same time, it’s almost objectively better, as long as you don’t accidently press it.
The best control schemes are the ones that bind any action that would be useful to do while still controlling the camera to the back buttons or the sticks.
I’m talking about a toggle tho. It’s not going to be accidentally toggled if its not on the stick, and the stick press is usually really sensitive. I can also hit the far right face button with the first knuckle of my thumb, while still having the end of my thumb moving stick.
If there was no toggle crouch in the theoretical game, then I would agree with you.
I prefer toggle crouch and I still much prefer it on the right stick. Allows you to spam crouch and aim at the same time, but do you. I just think it’s objectively better and hate when any action I would use while controlling the camera is on a face button.
My main point is there is a genuine reason it’s mapped to the stick by default, I would be annoyed if it was on the face buttons by default.
I think we can both agree that not being able to make any button do any thing is the best way to go about it. I hate being limited to a single scheme, or even just 2 or 3 and not being able to 100℅ fully customize them.
Dune 2000 was amazing, but this is pretty good too. I was ready to hate it, but a friend convinced me to try it with them and its been immensely fun so far.
Damn, I came really close the other day. Managed to live through the “the game will kill you now” event. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep up when I was at the boss.
But to progress the game you have to get up.
But when you finish the game a new mode is added allowing you to play normally with increasingly more difficult challenges you can put on yourself.
Yeah, almost to an excessive degree. To me it’s fine, it just means the designer has room to grow in terms of their skill at getting the right balance, but also it’s going to be a little bit of personal taste. This video includes some pretty interesting discussion of the balance between spelling things out, making sure that everyone can notice and enjoy them, versus making things opaque knowing that you’ll leave some people behind but making it that much more special for the people who found them “all by themselves” without any kind of prompting.
