Sure they are, however if you come to the conclusion (if you decided to read the article) that voice actors being told with no preparation that they were going to be performing scenes involving SA are whiny babies you’ll be told you’re not being nice which is what we expect on our instance
Instead of ending it, just address the problem. I’m no city designer, but seems like a button triggering a flashing light or something might be enough. It also seems like bikers would be pretty tuned into people crossing at the stops already.
This came out of nowhere. I think everybody was expecting Dreamworks to make it with the “How To Train Your Dragon Team.” This is such a stepdown from that and my hopes aren’t high if this guy’s only bragging rights are that God awful Uncharted movie.
I hope we at least get lots of lazy news reporting that refers to the lead actor as playing the part of “Zelda” - ideally live streamed and in-person, in front of the actress who plays “Zelda”.
Just like the Mario movie? Cause as kinda fun-ish as it was, it was still pretty cringe when they had literally all the references to the Mario tropes. The fuckin koopa even just yells out “BLUE SHELL” before he goes into it.
Play different games. Walkabout golf is a fantastic multiplayer game. I consider it the killer app. My family plays it regularly.
I wish they’d focus more on releasing VR board games. My family and friends are scattered around the world and VR is fantastic for playing board games with them if only they’d release them.
If the only thing you like playing is FPS games then I guess VR isn’t for you though.
This is the answer IMO. I suffer from terrible motion sickness from all of the normal stuff like riding in the back of a car and when I go out fishing on the ocean, like very quickly and very intense, but I have zero issues playing hours of VR elite dangerous…thank god
Gotta monetise to the max that personal brand recognition!
(Whilst in a video game like that I do expect his work was proper acting rather than merelly being famous, he’s still the one there doing it for the big $$$ rather than somebody else because of brand recognition: as in my personal experience there are tons of just as good actors in Britain who simply are not widelly known, as Britain has a massive thing for Theatre thus good acting schools and lots of people going into performing arts).
The appeal is that it‘s a great game with beautiful art that runs on just about anything for an affordable price with no modern fuckery attached.
But if metroidvanias aren‘t your thing, it‘s just not your thing. I‘m also not super obsessed with them and played the first game a fair amount but not that much; I do, however, get why people just want to be hyped for something that doesn‘t spit in their face in return for once.
But it’s not hard to find examples of similar games that don’t reach server-crashing levels of popularity. Axiom Verge, for one. Beautiful art, runs on anything, affordable, no modern fuckery. It’s also a metroidvania. Not to imply it’s a better game, but I personally enjoyed it way more than Hollow Knight.
