Started Plague Tale Requiem after finishing the first game. Story, atmosphere, and everything related is a lot of fun.
Only gripe for me is that the combat/stealth encounters are heavily trial and error if you try to not to kill. Maybe I'm too dumb but NPCs cover each others blind spots so good that sneaking past everyone is almost impossible, as they still detect you from roughly 30 m away. Most gadgets are either for killing or alert the whole map. Still a very good game, I'm just a little frustrated that going completely undetected doesn't work out for me.
For me, it’s been Last Epoch which is an ARPG. It’s been doing a fantastic job of scratching the itch that Diablo 4 just failed to do.
I finally made it past the campaign and am in the endgame (as far as I understand), and I’ve had a good time trying to come up and play with various builds on my Runemaster character!
Also, American Truck Simulator for when I just want to turn my brain off and relax.
I’ve put a few hours into Payday 3 so far, a shame it’s servers got the hug of death. It has one of the most developed stealth systems I’ve seen in any game. Core mechanics wise it’s definitely a worthy sequel to Payday 2.
Still playing BG3. About 120 hours in, still my first playthrough, but I think I’m getting close to the end. Wouldn’t be surprised if it takes me another 15-20 hours to get there though. After that I need to decide if I want to play through again with different characters/choices, or do something else first (recently got Tiny Tina in a bundle and looking forward to playing that).
I randomly got hit with the urge to play the ps2 mascot games. I've started picking them up for cheap to rip and load onto my Steam Deck. I've finished the first Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper games. Now started on Going Commando, with plans for the rest of both of their ps2 games and the Jak and Daxter trilogy. I've played all of Ratchet and Jak before but Sly is new to me, minus maybe half of his 4th game.
And still chugging through BG3 with my wife. It's been hard getting time for the longer play sessions it requires lately but we'll get through it eventually.
how did you get it to run? i think i tried to play it around the start of this year, but it kept crashing at the start. did dolphin fix the issue or did you have to to something special to get it to run?
Just got No Mans Sky for my Switch, having to update every time I insert the cartridge is a bit annoying but it’s so much better experienced on a console than on a computer.
