Art of Rally mixes fun arcadey accessibility with realistic handling for a fun stylish experience imo.
I love Dirt Rally 2. Oddly enough I’m not too good at it but it becomes a sort of groundhog day simulator as I continue to comically fuck up a run and reset to try and hit tight timing windows and optimize, resulting in a wave of excitement when it all culminates to eventually pushing me over the finish line
I always liked racing games combined with violence like Carmageddon and Twisted metal! Others along those lines are RC Pro Am, Spy Hunter, Road Rash 3D.
I was hoping the launch of Classic would bring back classic loot rules and with it, prime opportunities for very public breakdowns during raids. It did not.
Despite all that, there was the Warlock who Ninja’d the Sword dropping in Naxx on the final day. Fun times. Now that we’re slowly approaching Classic MoP we’ll finally see if the masterplan worked out too.
We’re not buying the game, we’re buying the fantasy that we have the free time to play the game. I heard someone say that about books they bought and didn’t read. You can apply this reasoning to explain a lot of similar spending people do.
I’d be curious to see if you can install the patch that reintroduces the E3 graphics and how that’s handled on the Deck. Not sure on the how-to with SteamOS.
