I’ve been playing the Star Ocean 2 remake, I’m nearly through it. It’s been a lot of fun, definitely worth picking up if you have any nostalgia for the game!

Returnal is a good one for this list as well, has everything you’d expect from a lovecraftian inspire game.

You forgot “Prisoner of Ice” and “Shadow of the Comet”, the two Call of Cuthulu adventures.

Diablo 2 hardcore. Currently gearing up to take on hell with my javazon.

Also playing some super Mario wonder. It’s a very fun and enjoyable game so far.

I went back to playing Slay the Spire for a bit, since it’s almost N7 Day, but I might just replay Disco Elysium in stead. After ME, maybe it’s time to try Starfield? Have seen too many negative reviews to really want to pay full price for it, but we’ll see.

Just finished Sea of Stars. I never 180’d from a game so much.

I started it a week and a half ago, and I was in love with the game. The story was cliché, sure, but everything else was perfect, and the characters were kind of cute.

But the third act feels too rushed and the ending… Oh boy, the ending. It just doesn’t feel like an ending at all. I was extremely disappointed with it, and too many setpieces just led to nowhere.

And the true ending was even worse, in that it not only has very arbitrary requirements to unlock (including finding all 60+ collectibles scattered across the map in random locations), but ruins one of the best and arguably the most emotional moments of the game as well.

spoilerI despise time travel. Always. It just doesn’t work, unless you put a lot of thought into it, and the Sea of Stars developers clearly didn’t even try.

Can only talk about my watch list :

  • Dave the Diver, on my Mac . Sadly, steam only.
  • dredge, PS4
  • thinking about cyberpunk but ps4 might grind
  • also BF2042 maybe for a shooter

Also looking for some kind of chill farming / city building thing, for the mac, to play in bed, if anyone has anything ?

Brokkr,

For farming, I’ll assume you’ve tried Stardew, but if not that’s the obvious answer.

There’s a new one out called Vexland which might interest you. I haven’t tried it.

Another stardew is what I’m looking for !

Brokkr,

We all are. Looks like there will be a 1.6 update with some new content. I never explored the additional 1.5 content, but it seemed like a good bit.

Project zomboid might quench that thirst with its farming foraging and fishing mechanics it’s a really good game I’ve put 860 hours into it myself since buying it in late 2018

I’d demand they honor the 75% off sticker on the assumption that they removed the original shrink wrap to place it on the cover.

Just upgraded my home internet from a spotty 50 Mbps with lots of packet loss to a 250 Mbps with cheaper monthly costs. So most of the time I’m just downloading games for the heck of it. I might not need to use my HDD to backup games anymore as the download speed is the same as my external HDD speeds ♪~(´ε` )
