Hi everyone. This kind of content is allowed on c/games. If there is a lot of content about video-games, it isn’t the only kind of games we accept. Tabletop RPG, card games, etc. are all allowed, and browser games are too, as soon as there is no spam occurring.
Still, we’d appreciate a heads up before starting to post recurring contents (especially daily content) in order to prevent anything becoming too prevalent.
Everywhere on lemmy people are talking about generating content and I thought this was a fun and easy way to do that, if you want me to stop I will just lemme know
The 4-letter one is obvious, perhaps even more so if you're British. The 8-letter one I probably should've got more quickly. The five-letter one is dubious at best. The six-letter one is definitely not a synonym of "post" at all. So yeah, not easy this time.
Turns out I was wrong though, according to the dictionary "post" does have that meaning, at least approximately. I think that sense is somewhat archaic, probably surviving thanks to exactly one well-worn cliché phrase.
You can give up after 5 incorrect guesses and I would not have gotten any of those I don’t think, I got the 4 letter one based on your hint but that’s it lol
I got ‘lucky’ and guessed the 4th word first (after misspelling it a bunch and looking up the correct way) which cleared letters to find word 2, then eventually 3, then 1 was easy. I can easily see it taking over an hour if I hadn’t guessed that longest one first.
I’ve only been playing the past handful of games but it’s a fun daily puzzle. I find it interesting that I either get sub 5 minute times or over 50 minute times. Lol
