That Robocop game has an 87% positive rating, but I got it for 93.35% – for a total of C$4.63.
As for Nickelodeon Kart Racer 3, I have the previous two games and really liked them. It’s a great couch co-op game with my kid. So I got the third one for 92.4% off the original price – for a total of C$4.32.
This is a great interview, thank you! It (sadly) confirms some stuff I’ve been suspecting for a while about the piracy scene: that repackers are a very rare bunch, repacking is getting more complex and liveservice/streamed games would truly be the end for piracy.
Repacking main challenge is simply the huge amount of games coming out now. Live service is really not the problem. I won’t be surprised if new genre based repackers come out. But yes repackers are rare cause it’s a huge time investment for no return in any form.
Small fun fact: Most steam games are cracked using Mr.Goldberg’s crack which is open source too. But this guy completely left the scene after throwing a tantrum in a chat for being a bigot and got banned.
At the current rate (which may or may not hold and may or may not be legitimate) the initiative should beat “One of Us”, the biggest one yet with 1.9M signatures (pro-life, ultimately did nothing).
I’ve been loving Rematch. This kind of team game reveals that, at least to some people, positivity and learning through mistakes will make a team stronger than negativity and shouting. Most of my games have been amazing, and the angry players seldom win. I always hit left dpad early on to get the ball rolling.
To be fair, I’ve seen a lot less sarcastic “Good job” messages recently. Everyone fucks up at some point usually, plus the desync issues cause “mistakes” that are absolutely not the player’s fault, and people seem to be recognising that.
I feel like the gameplay itself fundamentally refuses to accept spiteful/selfish players and they filter themselves out within a few hours of playtime
You have to play the team game, even if you’re the one. You cant outplay 4 people focusing you lol as long as youre clearly trying and not spamming everyone usually gives each other grace
Almost, but not quite. A portion of those signatures will turn out to be invalid, so we have to keep going past 1 million if this thing is going to fly. Aiming for 1.4 million might be wise.
It’s relieving to see that they calmed down in the end, but I don’t think that makes up for being a dick when feeling frustrated.
I wish the gaming community would teach people to take pride in good sportsmanship. It’s arguably harder than mechanical or strategic skill, and it’s usually more valuable.
I swear this is not me doomering (I very much support this campaign and even signed it myself half a year ago), but I strongly suspect that at least a good chunk of those are fake. The issue is very hot in “terminally online” circles and those are the kind of people who don’t really think things through before acting.
I hope the number will keep on growing until the “legit” votes make up for the fake ones.
There’s a chance many of the signatures for the EU petition aren’t real. Keep signing to build up a safety margin. Official suggestions are: 10% more minimum, 20% pretty OK, up to 40% more for an actual safety net.
Some countries had problems with signing using the digital ID system - suggests to use the manual method (instructions on the campaign page) or try again later.
Someone not related with the campaign released a SKG crypto. Don’t touch it, obviously.
Ross heard about people harassing Pirate Software, asks to stop.
He’s got a lot of messages to reply to, prioritises ones important to the campaign for now.
UK petition cleared 100k signatures. Number is most likely more reliable than the EU one.
I tried five times to sign using digital ID system, five times failed. Tried once on my phone and…it worked. So try to check other medium if you’re having problem.
