Ludzie mogli wybrać zasady, które będą obowiązywały na całym świecie - z zastrzeżeniem, że się w tym świecie urodzą i nie mają wpływu na to gdzie i w jakich warunkach. Czyli szansę na to, że urodzą się na bogatej północy mieli procentowo adekwatną do liczby ziemskiej populacji itp. I - w powyższej perspektywie - większość opowiedziała się za rozwiązaniami lewicowymi. Z powodów oczywistych. Libertarianizm (czyli de facto jedno z prawicowych rozwiązań) zazwyczaj wybierają ci, którzy chcą budować swoją “wolność” cudzym kosztem. Innymi słowy - nie, ta patologia nie powinna być “złotym środkiem”, bo jest właśnie patologią, a nie złotym środkiem
A także, dlatego, że większość libertarian to doskonale rozumie i mniej lub bardziej otwarcie współpracuje z faszystami, czy też dlatego, że w środowiskach libertariańskich skrajnie częste są wynaturzenia takie jak pedofilia i zoofilia czy w końcu dlatego, że nazwa została ukradziona anarchistom.

Pedofilia i Zoofilia to troche przesada, w żaden sposób nie wchodzi to w plan polityczny libertarianizmu, może to być cecha pewnych ludzi, niekoniecznie powiazanych z libertarianizmem. I to co opisujesz to już właśnie anarchizm, podstawowa kontrola monopolu raczej wchodzi w skład postulatów współczesnych partii libertariańskich. Tak jak lewica nie postuluje całkowitej komuny, tak libertarianie nie postulują anarcho-kapitalizmu. Postulowane są raczej rozwiązania bardziej uwspółcześnione. Niby przedsiębiorstwo jest autorytarne, ale każdy może zostać przedsiębiorcą, system w żaden sposób tego nie zabrania. A jednak im bardziej lewicowe państwo się staje, tym wiecęj kontroli mają rządzący, tym samym bardziej kontrolują kto ma tą władzę.

Nie każdy może zostać przedsiębiorcą. Nie każdy pieniądze na start. Nie każdy ma pieniądze na walkę z wielkimi korporacjami, które promilem swoich zarobków mogą zabić każdą małą firmę, czy człowieka.
I’d recommend dual booting. Get a hamstrung ISO of Win10 so the telemetry crap is DOA and use it exclusive for VR so it doesn’t eat away at hard drive space.
It’s against my religion to recommend buying any further Oculus product. I want a unit like the Quest that can play standalone as well as plugged in but I was already on the fence because of Oculus being a Facebook product (before the window-pane-licking-IQ name change) and the reveal of them lying about needing a FB account was the nail in the coffin for me.
My thoughts exactly. I know there was news on a standalone recent though I can’t remember who from. Very much not in the same price bracket as the Quest, unfortunately.
Edit: it was the HTC Vive XR Elite I was trying to think of.
Genuine question: how much of the marketing material did you see? I thought it was always clear that it was gonna be an exploration/puzzle game in a cyberpunk world with a baddie.
I had the opposite reaction, and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the small things, like scratching a carpet!

Yeah if OP went into stray expecting an open world survival game, that’s on them. It’s kind of silly to be disappointed that a game does not meet expectations fabricated entirely within your own head.
I don’t play many games, but Stray was one of the best that I’ve ever played, honestly. Not too long, emotionally satisfying with equally satisfying gameplay.
The cat part is also almost entirely irrelevant to the game. Neither the story nor the mechanics really care that you’re a cat. Sure you do more climbing than walking, but you do that in uncharted too. Linear combing sections are not what I imagine when I think “cat movement.”
Make it people would love it, though I'd say the opening ends with the place being on fire so as the cat needs to escape and that's where the separation stems from, because I couldn't imagine just forgetting my cat.
That just made me think you could also make the game where the family abandons the cat and it hunts them down and kills them, same premise though, in the end the cat finds the family.
After trying bunch of Android games I found Nintendo DS games that can be entirely played with a stylus have been the best games to emulate and play on mobile.
Edit: Kirby Mass Attack is great and felt like a native experience.
The headset itself is fine, meaning if you have the room setup done you can play games no problem (assuming the games play nice with Proton, most do but I’ve seen a few hiccups here and there).
What is not fine is SteamVR. If you are unlucky the App will not really work with your PC out of the box, in which case you’ll have to play around to get it working, switching to and from Beta branches.
Only real problems exist with the Lighthouses, you’ll need a Script to put those into and out of Standby mode and updating their Firmware via Bluetooth does not work.
There are a few hidden gems (I enjoy Plague inc. and Rebel inc. on occasion, for example), but for the most part, the majority of mobile games are mtx-laden cash grabs. So the actual quality is commensurately low because the devs figured out they don’t have to put in real effort to implement gambling and hook addicts.
