Cartoons and books and magic the gathering and Nintendo shit

Fuck me up with a good discussion.

sparky678348,

Love love loved my steam controller. I wish I bought 50 when they were 5 bucks.

The deck doesn’t feel right in my hands, im glad I was able to sit down and use one before I spent the money.

I would love a Steam Controller 2.0, or even just another run of the original.

sparky678348,

Something about the travel of the analog sticks was immediately and immensely off putting to me. Not the feel of the plastic surface that your thumbs rest on, but the physical feedback of moving the sticks.

I dunno it’s parhaps a nitpick but I went from ‘holy shit I need this’ to ‘eh it’s a cool device’ within 30 minutes of play time.

Warcraft 2 / Starcraft type games ( or clones, or engine recreations )

Im missing a lot of charm that w2 and first starcraft games had, and i did not see any open engine recreations, nor clones that lived to this day. With warcraft 3 i only ever finished half of the game, by the time sc2 came out, i was already too old to even bother trying.

sparky678348,

BAR is a fun game and I love any attempts to revive this dying genre

Spotify purchases their lyrics from Musixmatch

sparky678348, (edited )

You as an individual can go access the public free database. Spotify as a corporation is a customer of musixmatch.

about.musixmatch.com/business/…/Spotify

I’m not sure what exactly you’re trying to say?

sparky678348,

It is fucked up that the fans who are transcribing do not get a cut, but it’s not like they were misled to believe they would make a cut before they started doing it. The people doing that are doing it out of a passion for the music.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t be paid of course they should, if it was up to me I’d say make them all rich. I just think it’s a stretch to imply that Spotify is stealing anything here

sparky678348,

Such a shame, I was immensely sold on the initial trailer. I did not even end up playing it

What type of game do you want to play that doesn't really exist?

Have you ever played a game and wondered what if you could do something that it doesn’t really allow you to do, for example being able to move around blocks in Minecraft fluidly instead of in sectors, edit the world in Hogwarts legacy with spells, be able to fly in a world like Elden Ring or Elder Scrolls with epic sky...

sparky678348,

It’s called Stellaris, but it’s only the last stage of Spore.

sparky678348,

That’s what I like to hear. This is gonna be the first actually successful Pikmin game.

sparky678348,

I respect your opinion and appreciate that you have shared it here with us today.

That being said oof, what’s not to love about Pikmin 2 dungeons. Turn off the clock and unplug the setting from reality a bit, sit down in front of a long line of floors full of enemies and treasures, big juicy boss fight at the end.

That is Pikmin to me.

sparky678348,

I am not denying that the ability to plant more Pikmin with enemy bodies in caves would be pretty sick.
